January 5, 20206 yr He came on at Old Trafford for his debut when Nolan scored and we won 1-0, had heart palpitations everytime he got the ball and for the first couple of weeks it didn't get any better. Thank God he moved into midfield or I doubt I would be here.
January 5, 20206 yr Saw him on his debut at OT. Before he came on as sub he was screaming encouragement from the sidelines whilst he was warming up. You want players to "get it" when they join from another club. Sometimes it takes time but with him it seemed instant. Never forget the images of him put on his backside by Rooney on Boxing Day. After that he moved to CM and never looked back. Can't believe that he used to fly back to Madrid just to get his hair cut, especially when he could have gone to Frank Ferri's in Horwich.
