Personally, if you've paid in all your life, you get the state pension regardless of who you are. What should never happen, is a little old lady freezing to death in a 1 bed flat because she's scared to put the fire on. I'd be giving them nigh on free leccy.

July 9, 20206 yr Plenty pensioners are eligible for Pension Credits but fail to claim them for whatever reason. If they have to claim them in order to get a free TV licence maybe they will?
