  1. I think you???ll find Hamann has already washed his hands of Fat Sam. Like i said, hopefully he has done us a favour. Wasn't exactly a position we were short of players in anyway.
  2. You are boring the life out of me spouting the same old crap all the time. Hamann obviously never wanted to sign so hopefully he has done us a favour. Big Sam should wash his hands of him now.
  3. Maybe its because he doesnt keep in line with Big Sam wanting to bring in younger players. Than again, if thats the case, James Milner would be an excellent option at ??3.5m and i dont hear us being linked with him.
  4. Ibrahimovic is on his way to Spurs....according to The Sunday People anyway.
  5. Now that Benitez has finally landed his favoured left winger....could Kewell and Zenden improve our current crop of midfielders? (injuries permitting) Surely they will be out of favour, on the cheap, and have something to prove.
  6. So what you're really saying is that because Sam would'nt give you his sausage, you don't like him. Maybe you just are'nt his type??
  7. So how long will it be until the likes of Pompey and Wigan put in a counter offer.
  8. I fully agree with you. (Does that mean you will PM me a picture of your norks?)
  9. And surely Owen Coyle deserves a seat on the bench.
  10. Amazing, a fellow BWFC fan with the brains to see Allardyce has left us short AGAIN. I salute you sir. Remind me again when the season starts?
  11. The transfer window is still open FFS. Sam only said he was hoping to sign 6 players before the World Cup, but will settle for six before the window shuts. As for Natalie preferring to score 150 goals a season and get relegated.....she obviously doesnt understand the idea or aims of a football league. That, in my book, is going backwards and not the sort of positive approach we would be looking for from the manager.
  12. If Sam's negativity gets us another top 8 finish, then i will continue to back him. Maybe you should do the same or go and support someone else.
  13. But if it was between him and Souness, who would you have chosen? In fact i'm surprised Hoddle's name wasnt up there with them.
  14. Why dont you go and support Everton/Portsmouth/Celtic then?
  15. With about 8 games left we had 4th place in our own hands. Then Allardyce decided to ???rest??? N???Gotty despite him having not played for 8 whole days and we let in 4. We never recovered. The team and manager just gave up during the run in ??? it was pitiful to watch. A top class manager would have got the best out of those players and at least pushed Spurs & Arsenal for 4th place. Instead, we finished 8th ??? two places lower than the previous season. A backward step. Well which top class manager do you suggest could have done a better job at Bolton.
  16. I???m not going to get into a big debate as I realise many of you are plodders that are just happy being in a job, having a house, driving your Ford Focus and walking the dog at night. But some people want to be in the best job, be in the biggest house, drive a Ferrari and have the dog walked by the butler. I???m one of these people. I will not accept that simply being in the Premiership is enough ??? if that???s your cup of tea why not support Aston Villa ??? I want to win things. What is the point of watching football if your only expectation is not to get relegated? What.....you wanna be a butler?
  17. "As most people are at work or college through the day they may have missed your tv schedule last Friday, so here it is in all its glory:" I take it from that post that you are at neither. And if you dont belive that Sam has been doing the job he is paid to do, then that would certainly explain why you aint got a job. IMO you were daft to believe that it would even be possible to make six signings that would better the players which have left before the World Cup.
  18. For some reason its sat in my outbox. Not sure why??
  19. Thats the one then....they are both part of our hotel. Can see a few late nights coming on. I have sent you a PM.
  20. Thats a stroke of luck. I think that Voodoo is the nightclub associated with the hotel we are stopping in.
  21. Been searching the web and it seems like there are a few places to go out drinking. The Old Town, the beach resorts etc etc. Which would you recommend?
  22. Has anyone been? We are off there on a stag do this weekend and wondered what its like?
  23. Read on Sky Sports today that Newcastle are interested in Darren Bent and they reckon a bid of ??6m would be enough. If thats the case, i would rather see us go in for Bent over Johnson.
  24. dont think smiffs or i particularly expect his value to increase, just that theres little chance of the whole 7 million down the drain before this season i wouldn't have touched keane with a bargepole and hes scored 14 from open play in his best ever prem season and he wouldn't come to us and his wages will be enormous and i can't stand him http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/fo/profiles/8493.html Why wouldnt he come to us.....especially now that Spurs have signed a player that has to be one of the first names on the team sheet. (At almost 11mill, he aint gonna sit in the bench) Surely the wages he commands wont be more than we are saving after getting rid of Bruno and Okocha I dont particularly like the bog rat either, but if he we are going for the likes of Johnson at 7 million, i think the money could be better spent
  25. I havent read the full message so if this is repitition, i apologise. If the fowl had happened in the middle of the park, and the ball broke to one of their players, would the ref have let play go on. In my opinion, he would have cause he was playing advantage, in which case the goal should have stood and Lehmann should just have been yellow carded.
