They can only deal with it if the referee states in his post match report that he didnt see the incident and therefore did not deal with it at the time. I can only assume that he feels the situation was dealt with accordingly at the time.

It was two footed at the end of the day. He did get the ball, but the powers that be outlawed it a couple of seasons ago and some ref's (Mike Riley) would have probably given a straight red for that. IMO Flamini's challenge was twice as bad as he was miles away from the ball, yet he didnt even receive a booking.

Only listened to it on the radio.....but from that, i would say they are both right. First half was mainly Bolton and we needed the 2nd goal to kill them off and second half was all Arsenal and if it wasnt for Gardner, we would have lost. Still, it seems like we were quite happy to sit back towards the end of the second half and defend a 1 nil lead and look where it got us.
