  1. ......and i wouldnt share a pie with him.
  2. The only way his re-sale value would be better than the 7mill we pay for him,(if it ever comes off), would be if he is successful. Alright, he scored 21 goals in one season, but that doesnt make him a proven goal scorer in the Premiership. (Especially after 11 of them came from penalties.) I would rather see the money spent on someone who is proven over a number of seasons. Spurs have just spent almost 11 mill on a striker so surely Robbie Keane must be an option.
  3. Straight forward enough then. Cheers for that.
  4. How does the discount work if you are a season ticket holder, but not staying in the same seat?
  5. 20 goals a season man........ i doubt that sort of person would fit into our team because of the formation we play. I agree Davies could do with scoring a few more, but if it wasnt for him, Stelios and Nolan wouldnt be our top scorers.
  6. After having seen it again on Football First, it was a harsh decision. Alright, he lamped him in the back of the head but he was going for the ball and it wasnt intentional. What else was he supposed to do....leave it. Rennie obviously thought the challenge wasnt bad enough to warrant a yellow card, yet awarded a penalty. Contradiction in my books. Thought he was garbage in the second half.
  7. But were they appalling because we played them off the park, or were they just plain appalling. I am trying to convince myself its the former....
  8. Quality performance by the team. Campo back to his best with his vision and distribution.....I doubt he even broke into a sweat. Hunt......usual shite Borgetti.......deserved the goal with his overall perfomance. Maybe Sam has found a way of getting him to fit into our style of play. Davies.....never gives up and chased everything. Cant remember the last time he scored twice in the same match. (If ever for us) Can remember a time against us though. Nakata......good distribution and a decent performance. Vaz Te.....great header and glad for the lad. Needs to learn how to chase a ball down though. Can learn a lot from Davies. Faye, Gardner, Ben, Speed....solid. Cant help thinking that Charlton made us look better though as they have nothing to play for. Still, who gives a fook, a 4-1 win is a 4-1 win at the end of the day.
  9. Everything bar the top two lines are red for me. I'm with you on this one zozzy. Then again, for the last fourteen years i have thought Bolton play in purple and green.
  10. Sven........... a master tactician........... does anyone agree with this?
  11. Lots of people - me included - felt it was important to have an English boss. What is the point of winning an international tournament if the mastermind behind it is foreign? Cant you ask yourself the same question? If Bolton was made up of a foreign squad and we won the Uefa Cup with a foreign team amd a foreign manager, would you not be happy?
  12. Was away at the time so missed the match. Still, i dont believe that Vaz te has the same quality about him that Stelios does......and he certainly doesnt have the commitment.
  13. Whoever she is, she sounds like a good girl.
  14. 15 seconds would be to much 15 seconds is a long time if you ask any of my ex girlfiends?? According to me anyway.
  15. I like the way she puts haha, then explains herself by putting laugh. What else does haha mean? Unless she means cha cha and she really is a dancer??
  16. No dis respect to Vaz Te cause i think he could be a very good player. However, Sam was right to take him off today because he comes across as lazy, IMO, and if Stelios found himself in the position Vaz Te found himself in today, we would have been one nil up and it would all have been a different story. A loan deal to the likes of Leeds would do him no harm.
  17. I feel flummexed, bah humbug, do i know you? Do you require a temp?
  18. Thats brilliant.....anyone would think you work in computers??!!
  19. Has it got something to do with the England situation, or has it got more to do with us losing to Marseille, when if things had gone our way, we would have gone that one stage further. I would prefer to think its the latter cause at least it shows the lads care. However, at times today, some of the players didnt look interested and as for Tal Bens sending off, that was just childish. Still he has been a rock all season so i wont hold him to blame. (Ps. I am in a forgiving mood tonight and wont let the last five results get me down.)
  20. Fair enough, but if you ask me, we exceeded expectations last year, and all in all, this season hasnt been a bad season for us if you think back to four or five years ago. Alright we are going through a bad patch, but so long as we build on it and go from here, i am just glad we are now an established premiership football team.
  21. No doubt, if you were Boro fans, you would have been one of those throwing your season ticket at Maclaren not that long back. I dont see it happening now. Keep the faith.
  22. Or golf shoes
  23. A win against both.......well deserved against Chelsea and scraped against WBH. We always seem to do Man U a favour during this part of the season and this will be one of them. What a way to get our season back on track.
  24. he's not out of position Going back to when he first started with us.
  25. To add though, there aint much chance of Nolan getting in that squad ahead of the four he has chosen.
