  1. wasted talent with shit for a brain. let him rot where he is
  2. I'm watching it now... Donny are stuffing them, by far the better team. O'Leary for the boot?
  3. Quality m46... just like being there again.
  4. 1-0 Wanderers with a screamer from Nakata
  5. 3-0 Celitic GET IN !!!!! The Celts blew them away ;vv
  6. Nice flag !! Look out for the new Carlisle Whites flag in Guimaraes (don't have a pic of it)
  7. I liked Finidi George scoring for Cameroon (or was it nigeria?) in the World Cup when he went onto all fours and lifted his leg against the goal post like a dog having a piss. He played like a dog having a piss when he was at Ipswich
  8. What about Wayne Burnett ... now there was a player :^o
  9. That 11 must be the all time worst for Wanderers #-o
  10. You are right Andy Walker was the start of the improvement from the REALLY dark days. We were in danger of slipping back into that state when Todd got the mallet and it was Sam who turned a mediocre first division team into a European one within 5 years. It was Gartside and Co's foresight in cherry picking Sam that we have to be thankful for.
  11. I've had a few stellas and was just wallowing in being the third best team in the land and looking like reaching the latter stages of the UEFA cup when I got to thinking about the reasons for our success. I put it down to our board ... the club was in a desperate state both financialy and on the pitch before Mr Gartside and Co decided to poach Big Sam from Notts County. This decision alone saved the club from decending back to the levels of the early - mid 80's. We have a top stadium, a group of players who are all quality and in some cases world class. We have Nolan who in my opinion is the third best English midfielder behind Gerrard and Lampard (not far behind). Life in football doesn't get much better than this so enjoy it while we can. anyway back to the lagerfest. :bb
  12. I thought he meant it when I first saw it and haven't changed my mind in seeing it replayed
  13. I reckon Browny made the biggest mistake of his life taking the Derby job... there was no money available and a squad which was small, even without losing players like Rasiak. He is undoubtably ambitious but this was simply a wrong move for him. I hope I'm wrong but I can see him on the dole by the end of the season.
  14. I've often thought about the best player I have seen but can't make my mind up. Gullit was good as was Carlos Valderama and Gazza but I think Dalglish gets my vote... he was pure class.
  15. I became a Wanderers fan in the mid 80's through boozy trips to the fourth division games with my brother in law. can't beat a good piss up with lads with a passion for football.
