  1. Interesting. Could be a nice "wee push" in the right direction.
  2. Oh nice one. I've not opened a new betting account in over a year now. I think i will treat myself. Any promo/referal code you know of Traf to either of our benefit? Ta.
  3. I thought it was just a case of the message finally getting through. Prior to last night he still represented a great "out ball" but would too often run the length of the park, maybe commit one or two of our midfield to join in before either shooting or otherwise losing the ball via some "hollywood" method. Last night he sought to hold th eball up in the final third and was more careful with distribution. His cross for NRC though was outragously flukey. Still, i'd rather have THAT version of Petrov in the side than not. Ngog showed willingness to tackle back and apply pressure from the front-pretty much all the Kevin Davies can take any credit for. I think it is all too obvious now that with Davies up top we pose so little attacking threat pace-wise that it is no longer an option.
  4. Cant win, let me see if i can post why.
  5. Ive got Racing UK back for free this weekend. I wondered if it is ONLY as a previous subscriber as stated in the little flyer i got earlier in the week, or if everyone has access? Anyways, hopefuly everyone has it and didnt know it and this little note has alerted you to it. Cheerio.
  6. Well done. Keys was a bigger bet than i made out but i suppose it was backed with funds won from earlier in the day so no real pain. What was pleasing was spotting Orsippus in the last @ York. 60 something rated on flat...... i think im right in saying low 130s over hurdles... running over 2 miles 2 flat.... eh up... Well i was very pleased with my clever little self as it hosed up at 20/1 (obviousy i didnt "spot" it i read about it but.. nonetheless pleasing)
  7. Beg Pardon, Detroit City was the horse i won with in 2006.
  8. I might have imagined this but i think my first ever bet in anger was on this race in maybe 2004 or 2005 with the winner advised by a certain individual on here. Thoughts for this year? We've got 10 mins. Ive had a little go on KEYS purely on the visual impression of the ease of the latest win.
  9. OC at least seemed able to inject some sort of a response after half time today. Of course the deep sense of shame that ought to have been prevalent in the dressing room might have had something to do with it too.
  10. Actually ive been a bit over harsh... i guess no one knew it was gonna be one of/the quickest run Arc... I do still think too much was left to do, but a lot of ground was made up. Petrov on the other hand deserves to be run over by the entire Arc field.
  11. Did Petrov ride SYT in the end? God knows he wasnt at the Reebok and SYT jock didn't seem interested in the job in hand....
  12. Can you honestly see the match up with Frankel being allowed to take place? It seems over the years, due to owners protecting their future stud values, we rarely see the top top horses make the slight adjustments in prefered trip etc to end up facing one another, im sure there are many examples in recent years that someone with less of the of a scatter brain could highlight. Lets just suppose Frankel vs SYT happened.... honestly... i cant see anything other than A victory for Frankel, taking up the running from a bemused and heartbroken SYT with a little over 1f to run.
  13. Thanks for those chaps. The drawbias one is the exact thing i was talking about. I guess i hoped there was an upto date version. There was always a thread on BF forumn hosted by someone call "salmon...something" regarding First crop sires and sires in form... I've given myself a BF asbo... so can either of you update me as to the current leading first seaosn sire, and leading sire of 2 year olds over all ...please?
  14. Actually Traf, while you're here... there was a website i saw once..or maybe you can suggest one like it.. which showed stats for going preference in terms of win % for progeny by sire. Any ideas for free?
  15. Well i never! See how that absolutely was a tip?!
  16. This is not- repeat not a tip- and its late notice. Our old friend Thorpey - massively out of form trainer has booked AP for a runner in the 7.20 @ Uttoxeter I wonder if she has trained this one to stop too- it goes off fav.
  17. Still about but not as a good trainer. Unless of course what she is training is the "lead for a couple furlongs then grind to a halt" method. If thats the plan shes doing great. It puzzles me that her horses are often still apparently well suported in the betting.
  18. I needs to see me a clip of that wedge from 113 yards..
  19. Alison bloody Thorpe That was the begining of my gambling problem was that... still, betfair account is closed now...we live and learn.
  20. Is there only me as thinks he has peaked/reached the end of a good run of form/is bang out of form again and shouldnt be considered at a penny over ?8 million. Not setting the world alight in the U21's is he??? All i can recall of his last 4/5 games (international and for us)is a lot of balls bouncing off of him- a lot of pulling a face that seems to mean "ooh that nearly came off- if only my team mates were as wonderful as i am they would have understood whati wastryig to do" ... and the odd shot from increasingly Petrov-esque distance and angles. Had his time in the shop window IMO let some other club stump up the cash - sit back and laugh as he makes his way back to full time bench warmer by Crimbo. But id have a punt for ?8 Million
