...and did you expect him to say anything else? If you expected him to say anything about leaving Bolton behind then you have an incredibly large chip on your shoulder. I'd expect someone like Clough to say it when he left, because he's a Bolton lad through and through and has been with the club since he was 8 years old. Madine is just another mercenary journeyman who happens to have been central to everything good our club has done for the past year and a half. If you can't see that then there's no helping you.

Good finish. The other thing that made that goal was the running off the ball of Robinson and Clough. They made it so that the 2 defenders couldn't close down Ameobi and opening it up for the shot.

The fact that Clough can actually dribble a ball has opened up a few opportunities already, and raised some real noise from the crowd. Maybe, just maybe, Parkinson might stop playing so direct in the second half of the season?
