  1. Happier with that than the Reading fans will be.
  2. Buckley just missed from 2 yards out...
  3. Ironically, I think Wilbs might have been a better option from the start today. ALF might have been better coming on around now. Wheater might be hurt or something. That's the only thing I can think.
  4. Yup. Defense just smack it upfield whenever they take the ball from Norwich. I think Beevers still thinks Madine's up there.
  5. Thankless task for ALF today though. This would have been exactly the type of game Madine was made for.
  6. Absolutely. You can tell by the way that Norwich are playing that they 100% expect to beat us today. That's usually a good indication that they'll get frustrated around the hour mark.
  7. If they could stop diving and crying for 5 minutes they'd have us out of sight by half time. Typical recently-in-the-Prem team. That blond guy in midfield thinks he's Ronaldo.
  8. Oh good, it's like they heard me!
  9. Christ, I might have to mute this commentary. If the Norwich-love-in isn't bad enough, the French guy is going to make me destroy my speakers.
  10. I can already tell this is going to be super-biased :P They've already said it's like Norwich are just having a training session. Cocky pricks.
  11. Well.... C already happens, along with the shooter (if he's still breathing) not being allowed to play with anyone ever again. What some are suggesting is option D, take all the sticks off all the children including the ones who were playing respectfully with them, which is why most gun-supporting Americans have issues with it. For the records, I believe that there should be licensing and tests for firearms (just like there are for cars), potentially with recurring licensing fees and re-tests on a yearly basis, and a LONG waiting time after buying before you receive the weapon. I would also have people who have just bought a gun to have ALL their communication monitored for a year, at least.
  12. I'm hoping the ref starts takign a bit of a look at some of these challenges that the Sunderland lot are putting in. Leading with elbows in headers, leaving their foot in on challenges, and the ref doesn't look like he's going to call any of them. On the plus side, Wilbraham looks likes he might get their centre half sent off or at least booked soon... Some hangover from a late challenge in the first half.
  13. It's not lack of movement, but totally lack of pace. Wilb and Zack are both slow as molasses. The problem is double-edged though. If you're going to play someone like Wilbraham as a target man, you can't play long and through balls that he'll never catch, you have to play direct or to his feet. When the ball has gone to him, he has held it well and brought Ameobi and ZC into the attack, but most of the time he's (fruitlessly) chasing a through ball that he'll never get to. Play to the strengths of your players, and don't try to shoehorn players into a system that doesn't suit them. Do that and we'll be OK this season, but this game is being a prime example of how NOT to set up tactically.
  14. Seems to be more of a sense of panic everytime we break up their attacks, which inevitably leads to their keeper getting the loose ball and initiating another attack. We need someone to take it down and control it in midfield. Perhaps we are missing Josh in there?
  15. There's some guy who sits in the West Stand Upper who you can hear ALL GAME when you watch on iFollow. "I've been telling you for weeks, Parkinson" was a personal highlight today.
  16. Hahaha. Can't wait for that guy to (try and) take revenge on Wilbs!
  17. I think that's quite unfair. We were doing a decent job of containing them (big bastard striker aside) up until the sending off. That was also quite a harsh red.
