  1. Cheers fellas! Sorry Daz but don't get the JCL thing but I am new to this . . . and possibly a bit slow!
  2. Sadly I think folks 'cynicism' re. hunting after a new contract is probably spot on In all honesty as long as he keeps it up for the rest of the season i'll be a happy camper. Can't say i'll shed any tears if he does go though. Could and should have offered a lot more.
  3. True. But the grin is still slapped all over my face from the weekend and objectivity and perspective are out the window! I do think though that overall this season his effort has improved. Would like to see more quality/consistency from his final ball though. Also recall a shot he screwed well wide which he does far too often for someone with a left foot like his.
  4. I thought i'd heard at the end of the season but could be wrong. After Wembley last year I didn't think i'd want to see him in a white shirt again but to be fair to him he's really put a shift in this season. Also agree that he seems to be very much a confidence type player.
  5. flopppy lipped twat There is a definite wavy letterbox mouth goin on there! Your right Traf but it was more the irony of the last bit that made me chuckle. Kettle n pot n all that!
  6. Tremendous. Absolutely tremendous. Proud in every way of BWFC after that! THought Petrov had a great game, especially first half, and did my eyes decieve me or did i see him tracking back and tackling in our half?! Keep that up on and off the pitch and we'll be more than reet!

Was at Ewood a good few years back. We lost 2v1 i think and Blake missed a sitter near the end. Think Shearer scored a couple n all. Anyways, after the game a Blackburn fan kicked a pile of horse shit at nothing in particular and insinuated thats what Bolton were. I simply tought 'you dumb fucker, you've just got horse shit all over your shoes!' Sums them up for me that!
  8. Recently made first few posts on here and said hello on another thread but like a complete numpty only just seen this bit. So just wanted to say really enjoyed reading this site over last few months. Being out of the country i thought might cool me off a bit but no such luck. Ive been like a crack addict trying to get a fix whenever i can. The . . . er . . .'analysis' has been most illuminating! Much better than anything on the BBC site! Cant say ill be able to offer much insight but if i can have a wee rant once in a while and a wee giggle to boot then that'l do for me! Been a fan since, well, i was about 4 or 5. First game was home to Rochdale i think in 4th division. My Dad seems think so anyway. I do remember playing a team in orange so could have been them. Oh and the unforgettable smell of the burnden latrines! First real memory is seeing us promoted at Wrexham and being slightly perturbed by flying bottles and blokes with serious head wounds. Needless to say i was hooked;) Also seem to remember being in a crowd after the game with the match goal posts being raised aloft?! Happy days:) Lat decade has been a young boys dream come true an im praying this isnt our year to go down. It was recent events that prompted first posts and i honestly believe that said events will galvanize us and well stay up. Reet that'l do, Dickens is signin off!!
  9. Just read this on BBC site about Man U Man C mind games, whilst he has a point about citeh 'fans' the last line from Rio made me piss me sen . . . Ferguson's comments come after United defender Rio Ferdinand suggested City fans are only more visible now the club is tasting success. "Walking around in town, you see more and more blue shirts than you probably ever would have seen over the last 10 years," the defender told BBC Sport. "Success sometimes brings people out of the woodwork." #Ferdinand is a bell
  10. Right, been using this site as a lifeline whilst out of the country and recent events prompted a first posting. Thought I might as well join with the crack and get a prediction in as im gutted i cant be there for this one. Will hopefully catch on TV though (shit fan, yeah i know!). Hello to all as well, really made me chuckle over the last few months so thanks for that lads n lassies. Be a tough one this. Blackburn will by no means be taking their foot off the gas or feeling sorry for us and if its true they've sold 5000 tickets then there backing will be a big help. We need an early goal and our fans getting right behind us from the off. Could also do with Coyle picking the best 11 but perhaps we've seen enough miracles lately A hopeful 2 v 1 for the white men but i expect my cheeks to be squeakin for 90+ mins. COYWM
  11. Just checked the BBC site and the tears are comin again! Thank you thank you thank you! Lets hope this is the start of a full recovery. Cant make the next game unfortunately but the singing of 'Fab is comin home' is a great shout. Raise the roof lads!
  12. Been out of the country for a while now and stayed up to watch the game. Utterly shocked and like many have said I dont know the guy but it felt like watchin my best mate out there. Well done to coverage on Star Sports who were really sensitive, Howard Webb, and the Spurs fans especially. Brought me to tears seeing them chanting his name like that. Also really choked by all football worlds response to this tragedy. Football as one. Get well soon Fab lad, the whole world is rooting for you!
