Bolton Wanderers and England under 21's midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapsed during the FA Cup quarter-final at White Hart Lane as Tottenham Hotspur hosted Bolton Wanderers.

 

Fabrice 23, received medical treatment while on the field of play shortly after collapsing in the 41st minute of the game. Fabrice was then rushed to hospital as the game was abandoned by match official Howard Webb after consultation with both managers Owen Coyle and Harry Redknapp.

 

Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Fabrice.

 

Update

Fabrice is stable although in a critical condition in intensive care in the Heart Attack Cente at the London Chest hospital.

Just listening to 5live and a guy saying that a cardiologist ran to help from the crowd so at least Fabrice had the right people with him.

 

Prayers are with you Fab. If you battle as hard as you do an the pitch you'll come through this.
