We need to create a little more and get Gerrard more forward. I'd replace parker with Milner, put Jagielka along side him and move Gerrard further forward. I'd also then replace Johnson with Jones as Johnson it seems is incapable of playing right back without a defensive midfielder in front of him.

Thing is that occasionally Celtic and Rangers get through the qualifying rounds to the league games. These others would probably be eliminated in either the first or second qualifying games. The SPL must be close to losing that second spot and a few more non qualifying seasons would result in it going. however the real crunch is the SKY deal, without Rangers it would be renegotiated drastically and they would lose their major source of revenue.

heard some scot on the radio yesterday saying all the other clubs bar Celtic will demand the voting format of clubs in the SPL to be changed in return for Rangers re admission. From what I understood both the old firm together can veto anything they dont like, if rangers agree then the other clubs will be able to outvote the old firm.

Thought England were better than i anticipated, midfield just got too deep in a couple of 10 mins spells at the end of each half. To be honest that was the first England "performance" in a major final since 2004! Just wish that Roy would have organised us from 2000 onwards as basically as far i can see the golden generation were just told to go out there and play!
