Anyone parking at Stanmore and doing pubs away from Wembley? Just tryna work out which is the best location for boozers out of West Hampstead, Swiss Cottage or St John’s Wood if anyone has any recommendations? Don’t wana venture any further central than the above as already parking North so would mean additional travel time going back on ourselves…
  2. As mentioned, the atmosphere was the best I can remember it. Really pleased everyone brought their A game in that respect. Can’t help but think the heat stifled us a little. It was fucking hot just stood watching in ESL, so doing 10k plus in it must’ve been difficult. Especially for someone like Bradley with the high energy sprints. I feel the game was calling for MJ over Morley just before they scored, we needed more bite in midfield. All to play for on Friday. Our away form the back end of the season has been excellent and we seem to play better against teams that try to play us at our own game rather than sit back. Regardless of what happens though… what a season. It’s been some ride.
  3. Those that have become available in ESU and WSU are ‘restricted view’ tickets. If you look at the groups of seats that are now showing they are all around the stand entrance / exit and there is generally a small area of the pitch blocked by one of the handrails around the entrance / exit. Fuck knows why the club have only just decided to put them on sale now but just providing an explanation.
  4. Other than the club going bust, are there any other risks associated with this?
  5. I think a loyalty scheme is inevitable. Out of the clubs not currently utilising some form of points system I’d be surprised if we wasn’t the club with the largest supporter base. The difficult decision is how they launch the points system. Everyone start from scratch or use historical purchase data. People are going to (understandably) lose their shit regardless as it’s impossible to please all. If from scratch that punishes those who have genuinely been loyal over the years. If using historical purchase data, then how do they prove this? I know I’ve been to away games and not assigned tickets, used other CRN’s etc - absolute minefield for the club. Personally I think starting from scratch would be the fairest way. Level playing field for all at the start. It will only take 4 or 5 away games for the hardcore to pick up the points at the start of next season then they are in the driving seat for the popular games…. The TO will just have to hope the fixture computer is kind to them in those early games!

    Where’s this taken from?
  7. My question was “any other pub recommendations our side of the ground?” If you are travelling down by train or down the weekend, Baker St absolutely makes sense. It doesn’t work for us car day trippers (said the committee) and it’s really not a big deal.
  8. Not gone this route before either sorry but I know it’s a popular choice for England games for those travelling from up North due to M1 proximity. Car park looks massive on Google Maps but apparently fills quickly on match days. If you’re aiming for a morning arrival I can’t see any issues.
  9. Yep. Well aware of how a train line works thanks 👍🏼 Not wanting to double back on ourselves adding further travel time is an obvious detractor to that idea
  10. We are car drop at Stanmore (4 stops North of Wembley) then tube in, so central pre game isn’t an option. Other than The Torch, any other pub recommendations our side of the ground? Looking for atmosphere but without the kids and Fat Frank if possible… which I appreciate is a tough ask

Balls, I was hoping there would be more lower / middle seats available! Oh well, up in the gods with the day trippers it is. Thanks for posting that Traf, appreciate the effort!

Given members tickets go on sale tomorrow, would anyone with access be so kind as to post a screenshot of current seat availability please? (Actual seats, not blocks available) Purchasing 9 tickets tomorrow so will be good to know what options are available and at what price today to prevent additional stress tomorrow! Looking for lower or middle tier but based on what’s been posted earlier in the thread looks like this is very unlikely now??

Not seen anything on club coach departure times, unless I've missed it?
  14. The noise comes from the machine that blows up, and then blows down, the inflatable ball's for the half time zorb challenge. She also gives a cracking blowie.
  15. Are the autographs on the front or the back of the shirt?
