kids season tickets should not be able buy adult match tickets

put somebody who has had ST for 5 years ahead of somebody who bought a half season ticket in december - exaggerated to make the point, but a reasonable one, imo. If relegated, it may encourage ST retention

 

definitely more divisive

Points system based on away attendance or home?

All great points.

If we are in championship there wont be much trouble I shouldn't imagine mind.

Those who attend away games regularly should clearly have first dibs

And @mickbrown, not that I’m answering on Casino’s behalf as I think he has a different opinion to me, but both home and away attendance should be taken into account.

10 points per match - so season tickets immediately get 230 points. Maybe additional points as Casino says for long term loyalty. Then for all extra games, including home cup games and away games it’s 10 points every game.

The Accy semi (although there were plenty of others - Morecambe, Fleetwood etc) was the best example of how poor our system is.

People who hadn’t been to one EFL trophy game, people who aren’t ST holders, and those who hadn’t been to one away game this season were able to get tickets above those who’d watched us around the country. 

It’ll happen this week/next week when we get stupid 2k allocation away at Barnsley

From a fans perspective, absolutely.

From the clubs point however, if they have (say) 400 of these ST, are they going to want to lose £20k of income ? (as presumebly, the 'hundreds' of unscanned child ST would not be bought if people couldnt get adult tickets. Personally, I'm not sure the number will be that high).

For the Barnsley home game u were only able to buy your ST seat corresponding to age range

Regardless of how many sold out, the scramble was for Fleetwood, Accy (x2), Morecambe and Bristol Rovers. One incoming for the 2nd leg too. If people wanted tickets for literally any other game this year they could have got them. 

Should be priority for playoffs for folks who've done the amount some this year have though absolutely.

2 dont start selling earlier than the advertised time

 

i wouldnt give points for having a season ticket

a st trumps any non season ticket holder, even if they have seen 261 games this season

 

as despo says (cheers lusty) if there is 'loyalty' bonus, same value every game is fair

Yep.

And if there’s a loyalty scheme introduced, give a window of opportunity to buy. “320 points has from 9am -1pm to secure your tickets” Getting on at 10am sometimes just isn’t possible.

Perhaps there’s some degree of loyalty bonus given back to the groups. Frankly it’s bollocks giving certain groups as many tickets as they require before Season Ticket holders. For example, a certain pub may run a couple of 58 seaters for one game but only a mini-bus for the next. The mini-bus game won’t limit the group to only 17 or so tickets though. If that group asks for 30, they’ll get 30 even though they won’t be taking that many down. Besides, why should geography (folk use a certain pub because of where they live) have a bigger influence on the ticket sales than long-standing ST holders? I was talking to a fairly well known poster from on here on Saturday lunch time. He’s been a season ticket holder for nigh on 50 years. Should that put him just behind someone who doesn’t actually attend home games but knows a landlord who runs a coach or minibus to away games?
