  1. Fair point. Wigan is worst trouble I've seen this year and that was pretty easily avoided, although knowing the place helps with that
  2. Might well be the slowest Bolton team I've seen. I like Jutkywyzxyxzc but he runs like he's waist-deep in treacle. Someone played him through in the first half and the centre back barely broke into a jog to catch up and tackle him
  3. Big block of folk in (as far as I could tell from down the other end) matching shirts in North upper as well, which suggests we're dishing out freebies
  4. Nice one. Cheers, mate!
  5. 'Some' being the key word there. A working dog is a different thing to a hunting/fighting dog
  6. To be fair, as soon as you heard this story you could have taken a decent guess at the breed. Our border collie is intelligent, obedient and soft as shite... I'd have absolutely no issue leaving him with any kind of kid as he hasn't a violent bone in his body. My little cousins climb all over him, pull his ears etc etc and he loves them... they're the only ones with as much energy as him! This dickhead apparently called his dog 'killer', that should give some impression on how he raised the fucking thing
  7. Damn it, I was happier with my illusion Still fucking good, like...
  8. Bedsheet brigade to make an appearance on Saturday
  9. Way ahead of you. I'm wearing a cravat so as to blend in with the southern dandies
  10. Woodwork, you've inspired me! Gonna head to Bermondsey and try and pub crawl it to the ground, will be more of an adventure! If you're on here again before Saturday, are there any pubs that we should particularly avoid or will we generally be sound as long as we're not in colours/mouthing off?
  11. Where are you lot heading? Like I said, I'm open to suggestions... just the London Bridge pub we ended up in last time was a proper tourist trap with prices to match
  12. That was the okey cokey, wasn't it?
  13. Good job we've beaten the likes of Yeovil then ....oh
  14. I'd bring back the Big Sam era rule and fucking fine Eagles every time the egotistical twat shoots from outside the box. For every one that flukes its way into the top corner, there are 15 or 20 that sail harmlessly over and cost us possession in good areas. He did it twice in the space of about 5 minutes tonight, both times we had far better options if he'd taken his ego blinkers off and passed to a team mate
  15. I said 'decent' pubs. That said, I'm working off extremely vague directions so fuck knows where I'll actually end up
  16. When did I tell him where to drink? All I said is that's my plan as I don't see any more appealing options. More than happy to be set right if there's somewhere decent where folk are heading, hence me posting it on here Christ, some folk on here are touchy
  17. I'm not sure what bit of that is confusing... There are a couple of half decent pubs near Euston so I'm considering just drinking round there pre-match and just heading over Millwall way for kick off. This is because the alternative is London Bridge and it's a rip off
  18. Is it any good in there? Walk past it every time I'm at the match but never been in
  19. Oh aye, that cup game was actually pretty enjoyable. Doesn't help that I drive to home games and so can't drink
  20. NIce one. Won't have colours on or owt so I imagine we'll be fine Thinking of just drinking round Euston beforehand, there's fuck all in Bermondsey and I'm not paying £5 a pint like some fucking tourist in London Bridge
  21. Lovely night for it, absolutely battering down with hail here edit: and now some nice sleet too
  22. Hang on... looking at google maps/TFL websites that was going to be my choice. Go to Surrey Quays then walk it. Bad idea for those of us not interested in fisticuffs?
  23. To be fair, when did you last actually enjoy a home game? Most of them are pretty fucking miserable

There clearly is though, look at our away atmmosphere which is brilliant even when we only have a few hundred. One of the best I've experienced in years was Bournemouth away and that only took 1,000 of us
