  1. What happened?
  2. Great derby game, that. Anyone who says Wigan aren't our derby after that is kidding themselves
  3. Really poor game, that. A decent side would have stuck 4 or 5 past either team
  4. Sorry, couldn't resist. I have smartarse tourettes... Does seem very weird. Where on earth were they trying to get to? (Assuming someone was still in control of it at that point)
  5. Flew there, I'd imagine
  6. I like it, but then I like apple juice. The stuff in Denmark is even more so, it literally tastes like apple juice but gets you fucked
  7. Exactly, first half against Leeds we were far worse than yesterday
  8. Anyone in the ESL near the screen hear that bellend in the yellow shirt shouting random shite all match? I assume his carer had wandered off
  9. Dunno about that, not like they stopped us creating chances. On another day we'd have stuffed them
  10. We're pretty much the only club he's been at where he hasn't acted like a tit at some point
  11. Strange game, that. Thought we actually played better than we did at Leeds and created enough chances to win 2 or 3 games but it just wouldn't go in. Ah well, that's how it goes sometimes Don't remember them having many chances aside from the goals. Defending on the second was pretty poor, showed up how slow the two CBs are
  12. I'm getting very sick of all the Wiganophobic comments on here. Don't make me get Kick It Out involved
  13. To be fair, you don't need experience in football to understand the game. I'd imagine most on here don't have any of note. That said, I have a wealth of experience in football operating under a pseudonym, let's just say J Mourinho edit: No, that's too obvious.... let's say Jose M Hooray for old Simpsons jokes
  14. Making ourselves safe so that we can play the kids is an interesting idea, hadn't really considered that. I suppose I'd be happy grinding out a few results if that's the plan but has anything been said to indicate that? That said, we're assuming reverting to the old style gives us a better chance of winning. Given how bad we've been this season playing that style, I'd be hesitant to go back to it even discounting entertainment value
  15. So why shouldn't we attack? As I said, we've nothing to play for so what have we got to lose? Might as well have a go and risk losing than sit back against a team that also sits back and end up with a dull 0-0 like Tuesday night. Best we can hope for out of this season now is a bit of entertainment
  16. If we still had something to play for then it might be an excuse but we haven't
  17. Really can't believe anyone wants to go back to playing negatively. Not like we're chasing play offs or fighting relegation is it? Might as well go for it and if we get beat then we get beat
  18. Bollocks to them, play to our own strengths. We've destroyed 2 play off chasing teams playing attacking football so why stop now?
  19. Incidentally, there's not a chance it'd stand up in court. Implying that someone is gay isn't homophobic, particularly when directed at a large group rather than one individual
  20. At what point did causing 'offence' become a crime? Wonderfully vague term, 'homophobic chants'. To treat 'we can see you holding hands' in the same way as monkey chanting etc is absurd and pathetic
  21. The miners' strike says otherwise
  22. Nice one, ta
  23. So proud of the Casino were they that they demolished it and eventually built said soulless shopping centre on top of it I know what I'd rather have in the town
  24. Do they still have that shite Status Quo song on repeat? They had me on hold with that on for about 20 minutes once, they answered just as I'd finished setting up the noose
