I think its more highly publicised rather than happening more frequently, people who dont watch the news or buy newspapers now hear about things on social networking sites etc, word passes more quickly, there are more ways to 'become aware' of things. Felt sick last night watching the footage of the crushed bus being dragged out of the tunnel. That said, accidents happen in many forms, every day, all over the world, and whilst i cant say i never worry about my children, a coach trip to the swimming baths with school, a coach trip to a football match etc, is still a coach trip. So would i let them go on a coach trip abroad. Yes. To put it into perspective. If im not prepared to let my children on coaches because of the dangers involved, then i myself should never do it either because of the potential that something could happen and leave them motherless. You can see how this would snowball into a crippling situation where nobody would ever leave the house. When families get wiped out on motorways i dont allow myself to think 'that could of been us', i think 'thank God it wasnt us' and we carry on living our lives. Death can take any of us whenever it chooses, so i get busy living with my boys and make memories. I would be devastated beyond belief if anything happened to my children. I would also be devastated in a few years time to learn that i had killed their spirit through over protection, giving them unnecessary fears and restricting their lives, .

Flogged some of my old stuff in the last few days, woken up to a rant off a 'customer' this morning. 'Where is my item, i need this for Sunday' etc etc. For Gods sake man, you only paid 2 days ago( late at night whilst i was asleep anyway) , ive not got a post office at my disposal in the middle of the frigging night, My listing for the item says will post within 2 days of payment, ( today), the method of postage he paid for states 3-4 days for delivery. Therefore anyone with brains would not have bid on an item they need for Sunday unless they contacted you to arrange special/recorded delivery and paid for that. Im trying to think of a polite way to put the dick in his place, Perhaps i should fly in with a helicopter and drop it on his head. yes, im now in a bad mood

I treat myself with bunches of fresh flowers regularly, whilst its not extravagant its something i like, and it makes me feel better. Sometimes i send myself 'i love you' cards, write them with my other hand, and post them to myself too. The 'giving myself a dirty phone call' bit was difficult at first, now i use the housephone and mobile at the same time and one funny nopise sort of 'echos' so its less effort. ideal for someone with breathing difficulties.

Fair point Bazza, this is why i need feedback, there are several parents on here and this is a genuine worry for me, im sure her parents wouldnt be pleased ( if it ever got to that stage) im damn sure they would be worse if she got pregnant

I completely agree, however im sure many of the male posters will say they had by then. hence the question im not comfortable at all with the idea and certainly wouldnt have a good thing to say about it if they were- but at the same time i cant stick my head in the clouds.
