If 5 players make it into the first team in over a 8-10 year period it has been a success. As people rightly state, i feel Josh Vela should be given more of a game,Sunderland away in the cup last year he was outstanding. Over the next few months i would like to see more of Wilkinson, Clough and Threkeld etc, give the lads a chance?

Th'Embankment was a sad day to be a wanderer - remember the dreadful performance vs Barnsley about 8k fans went down? The main thing i feel we have lost over last year is the connection between fans and players- compared to other clubs is non-existent. As you lot rightly say we need some characters in the changing rooms- somebody to fly into challenges get th'crowd going away from home. Cyril Regis was a class player is he still playing?
