We play these again in the play-offs every chance Johnston, Erhahon, and ACD start. They have worked how we play out A back three of Johnston,Firino and Toal and tell them to keep our shape and we frustrate the hell out of Stockport

Concerning the 3CBs I would guess 90% are now in favour of this with the current squad. My question to you is do you want those 3CBs playing like they did at Doncaster, Port Vale and quite a few other games or do you want those three playing like they did at Plymouth second half????

This is what frustrates the hell out me. The defence draws a lot of criticism because it deserves it at times. Bonham rooted to his line while all the defence are caught upfield every corner. Toal and Johnston tippy tappy getting nowhere and being picked off by overloaded midfield, Friday our defence stayed more as a unit, Bonham only exposed once and a great safe from him. No tippy tappy football. Same players,same system but one is how Lincoln has played all season and one that we have played the Majority of the season. It is not a headscratcher it is the same players playing two ways......And i thought Rodrigues was good beside Sheehan knocking some great long balls into the channels, and he has a nasty streak not many of those technical players have.

We have seen two ways of playing the three at the back with two wingbacks with exactly the same players 1, We knock it about all day at the back then lose the ball. Our defenders are drawn forward and a long ball catches us out we have had 70% posession yet are 1 down 2 We play long, get it in the channels and try to put early crosses in the box. Our defenders do not tippy tap around We stay in shape and do not get caught one on ones Same shape, same players yet worlds apart 1, We have seen too many times this season against the teams that struggle. 2 How we played yesterday

The Mentality of this squad is streets ahead of any team we have had since administration. The Evatt team that won the Papa Johns was a much better team football wise. As regard Mcatee it is rank bad scouting to sign a player who will not jump and head the ball, i thought he could be the answer to our problems alongside Dalby i was wrong. Burstow is levels ahead of him and only going to get better.

Them sort of fouls are for players who simply cannot jump or head the ball. I have not seen either from McAtee. How he has got as far as he has is a credit to himself yet a stain on scouts at a number of clubs He needs urgent coaching to at least keep his hands by his sides when he attempts the same.
