I am not having that all teams have conceded goals from the keeper knocking suicide balls into the central midfield player. Bonham has done about four or five since he came in all too Sheehan, but we have seen it many times with previous keepers. It is something Sheehan needs to look at as much as the keeper.....Sheehan comes and shows for the ball where others do not but it is when Sheehan sprints 20 yards to take the ball from the keeper he loses control. As for the number ten it clearly does not work with two wingers and only one upfront because 9/10 times our defenders and midfield get it wide to the wingers and the 10 is ignored time and time again. The wingers then either cross low and nobody is there or it is easy to defend. Cut in and shoot or one in five crosses get to the back post where at least our one defender at least can challenge Automatics have gone in a league that has very little quality. Blackett-Taylor, Apter, Rodriquez are only going to get better as they get match fit. ACD and possibly Forss may make the last couple of squads and play-offs. I just want to see SS mix things up a little from now to May and not be as predictable. It is not about being two bob Peps, its about having a opinion because at the end of the day we all can come on here and talk shite. Subtle/tweak are just words which means nothing has changed. I said we play with one upfront you went to great length to tell me we played with two Forwards at Reading.........So yes theres your subtle and tweak rolled into one. When was the last time someone had a word with any of our last 6 keepers and told him not to play the ball short to Sheehan. When have we had a right back who can defend When was the last time we had a left back who defends Why are our centre backs the only two who walk out at pedestrian speed in the whole league Why are we the only team in the division with no long throwing as a attacking threat When have we played with more than 2 in midfield? How many times has anyone played well in the number ten position? When have we started with both Dalby and Burstow up top? When have we not had two wingers starting? These are all things brought on by Evatt and now SS some are down to one manager other things down to both We are that predictable we still do the same fuck ups from when Evatt was in charge

What variation has he in defence?? What change in formation in Midfield When will he play to the teams strength in the Forward line?

Think you and me are not too far apart. Would go with that back 3 and have them defend and not worry about pushing forward. A four would have to include Conway wide left to give that protection on the left where i see Johnston as a weak link when playing on the left. Apter/Tutu/ Blackett on the right and the central two i agree with you two from Erhahon Simons and Dempsey The 10 would be fought out between Sheehan, Rodriquez and Mcatee and two forwards from Dalby/Burstow/Kenny

Plenty teams in the Championship owe more than we ever did and are propped up with wealthy owners week on week.....We all know how that ends. Us ,Reading, Wigan, Derby and Sheff Wed have been down this road in the last few years. Plenty more waiting to join them The Premier league is even in a worse state......Doubt all teams will come through this in the next few years and it wont be just small teams like Bury and Macc

You keep going back to the reading game yes Kenny did start but we have played one up front all season bar that game and it is telling that Toal, Johnston, Conway have all individually started more games than any of our forwards Dalby,Burstow, Mcatee ,Forss and Kenny We have gambled this season on unproven strikers who have struggled when they play alone

It is not hard to work out why our defence has not been solid the past few years and it is as weak as it has been since we got promoted into this league.......We have four/ five defenders who are frustrated forwards and like to play in the final third and not concentrate on defending. We have a keeper who likes to give suicide balls to a player who continually comes short and has done it with other keepers as well as this one and we now have a round peg at left back trying to play as a wing back with zero pace.......Seen it all before and we are starting to see it again

confusing when SS says we are overloaded and initially in the transfer window we cut numbers then make one or two random loan signings to bring the numbers up to previous levels. Burstow seems to benefited from a rest and the Kenny signing seems confusing with his insistence on only playing one up front

If we learn from errors week on week then we improve. The clue is in the name of the one in charge [coaching] SS has got that stubborn side that eventually cost Evatt his job.
