The problem isn't really them, it's a manager who's entire attacking tactics seems to be get the ball to Gale and ACD no matter what, then once they get it, they only seem to cut inside to shoot. There is zero variety in how we attack when those 2 are playing, so it's predictable and easy to defend against.

We looked worse before he went off, this is just a fact.

A few things, it's not a derby game, it's a game we didn't dominate especially early on, it's also a game where ACD come off and it improved us going forward substantially, it's a game we won after changing to the formation to the same one SS used to get Plymouth promoted. This is why it was a big game.

Looked better when ACD come off and Tutu was on the wing, and looked even better playing 3421 with 2 no 10's.

I guess his thinking will be that 343 didnt work last game other than to keep a clean sheet, and he needs to win games like this to stay in the running, so he needs the goals that didnt look like they were coming with 343. Perhaps the change in formation will suprise and disrupt the opposition instruction and give room to the likes of Gale and ACD.
