Driving down M1 to Northampton from Leeds and back we passed road signs that had the names of 22 league teams on….name them…if a city has 2 teams you can have them both…

Yes driving to away games and no beer is boring. Also good chance we counted wrong as youth was never really interested.

Possibly get signs for Stoke?

Northampton

Maybe picking up signs for Peterborough & Cambridge too?

There will have been a sign for Manchester somewhere.

Other Manchester shite
Liverpool
Everton
Sheff U
Sheff W
Doncaster
Lincoln
Grimsby
Rotherham
**Chesterfield**   incorrect
Mansfield

Notts C
Notts F
Coventry
Leicester
Birmingham ? (if so, then Villa ?)

I was thinking Newcastle/The North on the way back- is there a sign for MK at Northampton?

No I think Newcastle only comes up as you hit A1 North of Leeds

You get Manc both ways, on way down near Sheffield for Snake pass route I think.

There is at least 1 no one has got

Ta.

Using a City with 2 clubs suggestion though, Stoke adds Port Vale, Birmingham adds Villa.

But it is based on the place name so Villa would near Aston, Vale would need shit hole

I've added Cambridge, as the A14 shows where the M6 joins the M1.

Also Luton, as it shows for Luton Airport. Watford Gap services don't count.

Do not remember seeing Cambridge, but Luton was on there as there are signs for Luton as you get to Northampton. Luton was the hardest one as it was past Northampton

Just looked &, strangely, the A14 exit says Kettering & Felixstow, no Cambridge so you're right. ... bum.
