  • I know @tomskihas been very angry at the lack of coverage

  • It’s why Test Matches are more popular for visiting fans. Well that and it’s the best format.😉

  • Well, yes. 6 Test matches this year and 8 one dayers. More people will watch the Tests than the one dayers.

south africa win by 9 wickets

what a terrible semi

I'm hearing the pitch was atrocious

So, tomorrow, eng play in the semis

3 lancs batters in the team

How does the funding work

Do lancs pay them and 'sell' them to England

Whats in it for Lancs otherwise

I mean domestic T20 is underway and a defeat leads to another meltdown on labcs twitter

Wtf do they expect when 3 of the worlds best are missing

Some stuff here, but not comprehensive.

good stuff

still doesnt tell me why an established player, say buttler, signs for lancs over, say, glamorgan

Chance of winning stuff, bigger wages?

As detailed above, the central contract provides additional cash on top of county salary, which you'd imagine would be more at a bigger county team.

How the ecb compensate the county, I don't know- couldn't find anything on that.

Didnt know that- sounds worse that the silly situation whereby Ukraine didn't qualify in the euros.

Can only assume net run rate or something comes into it. Assuming theirs is better than ours.

Game on. Good start getting Kohli early

Some good batting at the moment.

Need a wicket or two.

Yeh bad over that one

That’s a key wicket. Great bowling again from Rashid. He’s the best around at what he does

Need a reasonable start, and that gives us a decent chance.

They are all over us here.

All down to Brook, Ali and Livingstone now.

Not sure about that- India are just better.

And wickets prepared to suit em

For that reason, really hope SA beat em

The crowing of the Indian comms, who darent be even remotely critical really spoils the coverage

During the rain interval, commentators were discussing the truly ridiculous programming of the games; locations inaccessible to fans in the given timescale, stupid start times etc.

Utterly disgraceful.

What about in 10-15 years when the dinosaurs have died out?

Im guessing you don’t go to watch Test matches. It’s no different to any football match age wise. Never seen a dinosaur. They have a giraffe at Old Trafford.

He's only interested when someone scores 180.
