Mansfield Town (H)

Could be 4/5 changes for this - Wouldn’t be surprised to see Tutu, Simons, Dempsey, Cissoko and  Burstow start

Sheehan poor? Each to there own, but dont know what else he could have done tonight. He was the heart beat of the team first half, great shot which Dalby should have followed up but great defending as

  • I’ll have to watch again. At first watch it looked to me like the CB who is most culpable is Toal not Johnston, looks like he was out jumped ? That said TSL should be taking full responsibility.

Where we're at in L1, I suppose, a mix of unfulfilled talents and solid sorts who are at their ceiling

Sheehan wasn't helped by Evatt's insistence on playing him a certain way within a flawed approach. He's been better this season for not having to do so much of that.

Evatt's got Blackpool going now, interesting to see if, with who he has to work with, he's still wedded to a way or there's been some reflection and tweaking

Going oft the locals reports he's still welded to the system and his routine subs.

He's hit jackpot as all the players they had out injured have all come back at once. They had a proper injury crisis going on.

They spent more than us in the summer and it seems the new signings are starting to work and Fletcher has found some proper form.

That sqaud of players has no business being down there. He'll have them up and punching round the play offs make no mistake. See if he can handle the big games and the old low block malarkey.

Imagine how fun your week will be when his Blackpool side spank us

Tbf his system probably suits ours like Wigans did.

And there was me concerned by 2 defeats in 3 and the strikers unable to hit a barn door or connect with a cross.  If only I'd looked at the fixtures of other teams, its all coming together 😀

(just joking BTW, not having a dig!)

I was trying to console myself that it would be alright 🤣

Said similar about the players to a mate of mine (yes, I have one 🤣), he's a strong squad that, if fit and on form, ought to be in the upper reaches. Fletcher's probably in the best run of form of his career
