Fans who were season ticket holders in the lower divisions and going back to the Burnden days should be given priority over the Johnny Come Lately fans who WILL let the club down should we ever hit bad times in the lower divisions again.

No I ain't thick but by the sounds of your "email", you are trying to big yourself up by having a ticket stubb for the Fulham game therefore trying to say you deserve a ticket more than anyone else.

That was just a passing comment. I clearly state what I would like to see. I understand I cannot expect priority just for attending one cup game as my mate who I go with was in Ireland so could not go yesterday but he should get priority over the JCLs as he has been going for years on years like myself.

by doing the thing with season tickets, it stops season ticket holder getting tickets and passing their stubs onto people who didnt go yesterday and then claiming they did. it will also make sure that fans who are not st holders but did attend yesterday get tickets.

all season ticket holders would still get tickets and other genuine fans would also get a ticket.

 

the problem last time was season ticket holders getting tickets for non season ticket holders.

 

there is also a problem on when you give priority to lifeline members, i would say they should do it in the order ive stated.

 

i'm sure there will not be another feck up like last time.

As already pointed out, they haven't got a clue who had an ST at Burnden

The easiest way of doing it would be:

 

1) All Season ticket holders get 1 ticket each (we have around 20K season ticket holders, and would get an allocation of around 20K tickets)

 

2) Any unsold tickets are then left in the centre circle at the end of the last home league match, and then any fans without tickets have to rush "British Bulldog" style and claim a ticket, on Big Sams whistle (you can only collect one ticket, and also if you "false start" before Sams whistle, you are disqualified from the event) - In order to make things interesting, all those competing should be blindfold and naked*

 

 

*of course all of those of us with season tickets can watch the "entertainment" from our seats - also could we sell this as a pay-per-view project?

i suspect that the allocation available for season ticket holders will be less than the number of season ticket holders we have
