February 22, 200521 yr I was in Berlin in 99, went watching the Stranglers and the place was full of punks..... they still think it's 1977 over there As for the nightlife, stick around the east of the city, it's full of bars all reasonabily priced.... some of the clubs will try to charge you a 'cover charge' but when you've explained that your a pisshead you are usually welcomed with open arms and the cover charge is immediately forgotten It's the most bizarre city I've ever been to and you'll know what I mean when you get there.... There are no official bar opening or closing times... we were sat in a bar at 5 o'clock one Sunday night/monday morning and there were business men calling in for a few beers before they went to work.... very surreal.... as for food you can literally buy anything from any country in the world there Avoid the Kit Kat Club........ The fit bird on the door is not exactly a real bird and once you get in it's like a scene from Village People's YMCA video Drugs are easily available in the streets but the Tiergarten is the best place to make purchases or so my 'mate' told me Taxis are very reasonably prices and there's absolutely loads of them at the airport Having said that I was pissed the whole time and might have imagined all of the above
February 22, 200521 yr Oh by the way The word CLUB in Germany sometimes means Brothel Clubs are generally referred to as DISCOs Don't make the mistake of entering a club and thinking your a sex god because loads of top totty are waving at you and flashing their knockers and wombles

February 22, 200521 yr I've been invited to my cousins stag do in Dubai 4 nights stay :D/ You'll love it out there - all those rugs! Make sure you get booked into the Presidential Suite at the Burj Al Arab. I've got a wedding in St. Petersburg (Russia not Florida) in April. Hoping it clashes with the FA Cup so I have a valid excuse this time!
