Spare a thought

I raised a glass last night whilst partying the night away in Portsmouth to thank god how lucky I am. I have the privelidge to watch Bolton in Europe yet the two biggest Bolton fans ever, Dave Higson and Mark Fernside have sadly passed away. So lets spare a thought for these two remarkable characters.

Also lets spare a thought for those who can't attend before we all spout off about Europe, as I found out last night these lads are gutted. My apologies to Mr Bear about the wayward text.

and I'm sure there will be a few Dave Tshirts on show in Moldova....wherever the fcuk that is!

Can't those who are banned go on the trip away just not near the ground or do you have to hand your passport in?

=D>

Shame Dave and Ferny wont have the chance to experiance Bolton in europe, but its allready been said, where ever we go, they'll be watching.

hand in passport and report to police station on day of game ](*,)

i hope we draw TNS then

But Billy, does that mean you can soak up the build up to the game, I for one will there for at least three days before kick off, and come back early doors on the day of the game.

Not ideal I know but at least you can have some of the crack.

nope, as the passport is sat behind the desk of the local station.

we hand it in a few days prior to the game ](*,) ](*,)

I wish Eddie Hopkinson was still around to see us now.:(

Also a good shout to spare a thought to all the luckless souls who for one reason or another cannot follow BWFC anymore. I had mates who went the length and breadth of the country to see the White-shirted heroes in the 80s and 90s, yet when the cream was there to be licked, a number are financially not able to follow them anymore. Sad but true.

DO EM A BORROW , THEE,S GOT ENOUGH !

THE GOOD THING ABOUT IT IS THE 'RED LOVING CANT GET A TICKET BOYS' FROM BOLTON WILL BE WELL PISSED OFF THEY DONT SUPPORT THEIR LOCAL TEAM NOW. SCABS THE LOT OF THEM!!!!!!

I guess someone's already tried it. No chance you can "lose" your passport and hand the old one in? Or not worth the risk?

Couldn't agree more.

It's a real pity about the lifelong supporters who won't be able to see us play in Europe, particularly the likes of Higgy and Ferny.
