Jimi Hendrix at the Odeon around 67.

Pink Floyd played Bolton that year. It could have been Rivvy Barn.

Sorry, I'm not having that [-X

This is only acceptable if your mum said it happened :D

okay! not strictly what ive seen but heres what my ma and pa said theyve seen in bolton! @ rivvy barn!

Geno Washington and his Ram Jam Band

The Rolling Stones

The Beatles

The Small Faces

and a few others i couldnt remember the names of!

Verve (when they were still called Verve) at Crown and Cush along with Primal Scream and the Charlatans.

I once did the sound for an all female band called Rock Bitch at the same venue who got down to some lesbian action live on stage. At the end of the gig they threw a con dom into the crowd and the bloke who caught it got oral backstage.

They were bloody rubbish though!

Oh and Senser, also at crown and cush!

I was at that Verve gig.

I was at the New FADS both times and Charlatans. Didn't bother with Primal Scream because you had to pay to get in (a quid I think) and we thoguht bollox to that. One of the New FADS ones, a pissed middle aged bloke in a suit got on stage and started playing one of their guitars and they just joined in with him.

Anybody remember Levellers 5? Drummer just had one massive drum made out of animal skins that he beat he living shite out of.

"Pablo Picasso never got called an arsehole"

Also a quick mention for Trouble at t'Mill.
