Anyone know what the situation is with us signing him permanently? How long's his contract at Lens? I'm sure someone metionned that we can sign him for nowt. He's been brilliant these last 5 or 6 games now...

he sure looked menacing at one point when he was bailing towards Robinson as he was taking the goal kick...wouldn't like to think he was legging it towards me.....

The guy is a machine.

 

The number of passes he intercepts and his workrate are unbelievable.

And he wins everything in the air in midfield.

 

His passing although adequate is the one area that perhaps could be improved but that's a minor gripe.

 

I hope that Jack Chapman who apparently spotted him gets a big fat bonus for it.

i'm sure i read somewhere that as part of the loan deal if Faye played more than 10 games then we had to sign him permanently!

i believe gartside when interviewed the other day, said we had paid out 500k (pounds or euros i dunno) for faye a couple of weeks back

Having seen aforementioned tackle last nite, plus some of the other hard work he put in last nite and in previous games I think we would be crazy not to get him perm.

 

Hopefully this loan to perm deal is a reality

only said to my fatha on leaving the ground last night - just cannot see Campo getting back into this current team. his only grace will be that many of the players who are performing well at the minute will be away in Feb.

That tackle went half the length of the pitch. Top Quality.

 

If he missed the ball he would now been in proson for murder.

 

I thought the way a few of our players threw themselves at the ball at times last night was treeeeeeemendous.

Wasn't the tackle by TBH in the 2nd half on Defoe on the edge of the box just something to be proud of. Precision tackle. Mistimed and it was penalty for Spurs.

Heard that if Faye plays 10 games we can sign him for a million euros (about ??700k)

Was gonna come on and say the same! Hes hardly put a foot wrong either center half or Holding Mid. Prefer him at holding mid and i think the back four do to coz they hardly have to head a ball!!

We need to sign him quick if we can coz it surely wont be long before the sour faced scottish d!ck from the Buccaners realises Alan Smith is no holding mid and says whos the big Black lad playin for Sam!
