And at the end of the interview last night the SSN newsreader said "A clearly emotinal Paul Gascoigne there". Tired and emotional I think the phrase is. One of today's papers quoted the Kettering Chairman as saying he'd had 37 reports of Gazza boozing in the 39 days he was there.

 

I like Gazza: he was a great talent and he was - and is - one of the game's great characters and I really hoped he would do well at Kettering but he just seems unable to cope.
