Changed the game; once Davies decided he wasn't going to run after anything more than 6 feet away from him . . . ](*,)

Who was it in the 2nd half who got the ball in the box in a good goal scoring position (from where I was sat anyway) and hit it on his second shot and went wide :-k

Vaz T?? is certainly looking a better player than I thought he would.

I think it's now time he was let loose, and given an extended run in the 1st team, but I suspect it will come after the new year when we lose players to the African cup

me too

I think he play in Diouf's role during the ANC.

He better get the petulance spot on though!

too many times, players fail to turn ten minute cameos into full games

i just hope vaz te isn't one of those

on what we've seen in recent weeks, he'd start ahead of stelios for me...but then i've never liked the greek

I think Stelios is underrated, he adds a bit of guile, and most importantly he scores a decent quota of goals

stelios is a consistant performer, always takes the safe option...

rarley outstanding, but rarely makes mistakes that would cost the team..

one 1st names on team sheet for me...

stelios is a consistant performer, always takes the safe option....

in a team with 5 midfielders, one of whom is often just an extra defender, i think we need more than the safe option from our 'attacking' midfielders

for me, he the michael johannsen of his time (never rated that tosser, apart from his first dozen and last dozen games)

one of the weaker links in the team, in my opinion

I'm with Stanley on this one.

He plays out wide, but never takes the full back on and rarely delivers a telling cross.

I agree with Cassie; as with "ickle Joey" Stavros rarely seems to actually beat a man on either side - he seems to constantly turn back when approaching the full-back or whomeverm which in turn slows our breaks down and allows the opposition defence / midfield to recover. He's also a diving little fooker.

To his credit though he's usually busy and wants to always get involved - he's justifying his place in the team right now and he does have the knack of positioning well to snatch the odd goal - something he could teach big kev.

For now the fluid system with Nolan, Stavros and Diouf works well but I'd like to see a plan B for when it isn't...

So that's Stelios, Hunt, Jaidi, Okocha, Davies, Bruno and Nakata all shite so far today - and I've probably missed some off.

I look forward to the next defeat...it'll be time for a total clearout then.

Moaning bastards!

Jussi can't kick

Diouf dives too much

don't think anybody said stelios was shite though

I know he's scored a lot of goals at reserve level but think Vaz Te needs to work on his finishing. Chance last night and against Gooners should have scored, and would have if hit it high. As much as i hate to say it great example was Rooneys 2nd last night. Having said that i do think Vaz Te has the potential to be one of the best young players in prem

He never got in the game at all :-#

It's a confidence thing - that boy can definitely finish. Once he gets a league goal, he'll get a hatful given the opportunity.

Hope your right but the goal in Guimaraes should have given him confidence, a cracker

the same can be said for Kevin Davies and Henrik Pedersen. both are woeful finishers.

The difference being he didn't get chance to think about that one he just hit it , the other 2 hes been running towards goal and has had time to think where is going to put the ball and I thinlk has been caught a bit in two minds but all that will come with time

Thats what i was getting at, last night and Arsenal chances he had time and best way to score would have been to hit it high, like you say it will come with more matches

He did OK last night, good first touch and went across the keeper

Would have been better going high, but all in all it was a good save

But on a plus , the last 2 gaol we've scored have come through him
