Alan Pardew

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/4792270.stm

The lad is getting too big for his boots, the fickle hammers fans have started to leave him alone & now he's charlie big-time.

His 'we're a home-grown' club b*llocks has started to get a bit tiresome recently, I've heard him mention it in every interview, what does he want - a f*cking medal?

Ashton cost more money than our whole team.

And WHU have spent millions in recent years.

But they won the world cup

That Bywater deal has done Rochdale no harm they have earnt quite a lot out of that deal and still are. If he ever plays for England there is a big payment going Dales way.

What you should now know is that Mr Pardew is a bit of a hypocrite (I missed Katan of the previous list), and he has no right to criticise Arsenal who are in a different league to WHU in terms of success, and as well as having Cole and Campbell, have brought through Pennant, Bentley, Upson, Sidwell etc. etc. for ultimate use of other PL clubs and currently have promising English youngsters Gilbert, Walcott, Hoyte from their Academy.

And how much is your wage bill compared to ours and the average age of your team?

BW2k...nice to see you taking my advice.....you will thank me in the long run :D

a) don't know

B) not as high as you think

but surely a team with an average age of say 28/29/30 is likely to do better than one with 21/22/23 - rather subjective i know but experience counts for everything

also

we have more homegrown players in our current playing squad than west ham

Our wage bill is about ??19m - ??20m and is one of the lowest in the Prem. Do you want one of us to find out yours for you?

Go right ahead, ours isnt as much as that anymore...

I wouldn't know our wage bill, I'm not an anorak.

But I'm sure it'd be less than yours, you are a London club after all............and those multi-million pound deals wouldn't happen without a decent signing-on fee & wage.

Anyway, we've gone over all this a thousand times already.

My point is - your manager is a pillock, and he'll have left West Ham in the next 3 years.

You have been in the prem for 5 years now, we have just come back up after a 2 year exile, how is our wage bill gonna be higher than yours at the moment?

We couldnt afford to pay big wages in our 2nd year down, even Repka and Dailly had to offer to take pay cuts to under ??12k per week.

Our best paid player now is Benayoun on ??23k p/w.

I really couldnt give one about 'wage-bills'! who cares?!?!

We are a better run club than west spam

FACT

wages - waaaaaaaaay less than yours, i believe

we're little bolton with shit crowds

we're one of only two clubs in the prem - united being the other - with wages at less than 50% of turnover

hope that answers your question

Sams recent spout of b??llocks, similar to Pardews...

BIG SAM WANTS FOREIGN INFLUENCE REDUCED

Sam Allardyce insists that if England are to become a world force then 50% of

the players in the Barclays Premiership need to be English.

The Bolton manager is from the school of the thought which claims there are

not enough homegrown players at the highest level.

Tipped by many to become Sven-Goran Eriksson's successor, he accepts it will

take time to alter the landscape of the top flight.

But Allardyce claims there has to be widespread change for the good of the

national game.

``Of course it matters there are not enough quality English players in the

Premiership,'' he said.

``If you are an Englishman like me it matters more than anything else.

``It is worrying for the future of English football and the national side.

``A big shift is needed to generate the next group of players good enough

first of all to play in the Premiership.

``We need to get the number of foreign players reduced if possible to under

50%.

``It will be a long, slow process and could take four to five years but this

is something we must address.''

Of the current Bolton squad facing West Ham tomorrow, only two players are skipper Kevin Nolan and Nicky Hunt.

Allardyce added: ``It is a dilemma because if there is a foreign player out

there of the right quality you will take them.

``We are living in an industry that revolves around money. Without it your

club cannot grow.''

Bolton face the Hammers twice in the space of four days - they meet in an FA

Cup replay at Upton Park on Wednesday.

Allardyce said: ``The cup is the most precious of the two games as I would

like to get some silverware.

``While we don't want to slip up tomorrow at least we would have a little bit

of leeway in the league and a chance to catch up.''

'kin West Ham

If ever anybody wanted to know what 'delusions of grandeur' meant they only have to look at our friends in claret and blue.

And this latest penchant for trotting out 'we are a good, young english team' - please, spare me. Clutch at a different straw...it's nothing but luck and circumstance that you've a bunch of championship players in your squad.

I'll laugh my socks off next year when you go down.

Difference being is that Sam is not putting himself forward as the saviour of British football

Apart from touting himself for the England job you mean?

I thought WHU's perception was bigger is better though, well, that's what I've been led to believe both on here and on WHOnline

surely if we have a bigger wage bill we have better players, no?

It sadly doesnt work like that ZK. Our wage bill was the 6th highest in the prem when we went down!

Our wage bill was going to be ??8m. But that is without contract renewals and the added cost of Gabs, collins, Benyoun and Ashton.

I would hazard a guess at ??15 m.

Really though, i dont get all this. Pards was just saying what everyone else thought, arsenal are as british as paella!!!

Its not his fault that he goes to a news conference about the bolton match and gets asks questions which are then printed in newspapers.

Anyway i doubt sam is going to get the england job which is a shame as he probably desrves it, in the same way Clough deserved it but wasnt an FA man....

Sir Trev got his own back though, he's now above him in the football ladder!

What - for the being the biggest paper shuffler in football?

That will go down in history.

Yeah, in charge of the Grassroots development in England and on the panel to select the next England boss is a real naff job.

jobs for the boys, anyone can see that...

sheringham will be his right hand man come next season...

A debate that didn't end up like schoolkids arguing - I can't believe we did it =D>

Now then, do you think Pauline Fowler will ever get over losing Arthur?
