IF YOU ARE GOING WATCHING A FOOTBALL MATCH AND DON'T THINK TO CHECK IF YOU HAVE YOUR SEASON TICKET THEN YOU ARE A COMPLETE AND UTTER F??CKWIT.

Even Darren can remember his.

Have a day off. FFS!

You`re so perfect that you`ve never forgotten anything are you? This lady was 60 year old and didn`t have the money on her' date=' an exception should have been made to the rule.[/quote']

Aye, I forgot my clubcard when I went to Tesco. Thing is it wasn't that important. Now, if I'd forgotten my wallet and went to the checkout, would they have let me take the stuff I wonder. I shop there regularly (except beer on matchdays)

Gonk I see what you are trying to say, but your argument is flawed pal. This woman HAD ALREADY PAID TO SEE THE MATCH. Her proof was at home. But the club has proof enough with their "bells & whistles" computer system. A couple of quick questions and it would have been easy for them to establish if this lady was fraudulent or not.[/

What is total bollox about this is that even if we accept that forgetting your team card is slightly dizzy, surely someone in the club has been on customer service training ?

Forget how old the person was or the fact it was a woman, you have a customer who buys your companies products and they have a problem, that you can deal with in a matter of minutes, what else are you there for ?

We have 20,000 + customers a week the vast majority have no reason to deal with any of the clubs staff so when they do it aint a lot to ask that they are dealt with in a decent manner.

A quick check on the computer could have seen ticket had nt been used and block it, then issue a replacement. Even if they could nt check how much of a commercial risk would it have been letting her in ?

in a customer focussed business staff have to explain why they say 'no' to customers.

Plain and simple, if this happened in a well run company someone would be cleaning out their desk. At BWFC, if you stick your head in the sand, the problem will go away.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO POST ON A FORUM AND DON'T THINK TO REMEMBER THAT AT SOME POINT ,SOME TIME YOU WILL HAVE FORGOT SOMETHING IMPORTANT THEN YOU ARE A COMPLETE AND UTTER F??CKWIT.

Even Darren forgets things.

I had Johnnyonone's other season ticket at work , so thats my fcuk up but surely it should be have you got ID , if so in you come and enjoy the thumping we're gonna give the hammers :D

Does anyone know if the "state of the art" ticketing system actully works?

if a chav turned up and asked for a free replacement ticket I'd expect the ticket office to abide by the rules and make him pay, even by asking a couple of security questions you'd probably be dubious as even if they were the real owner of the ticket there is nothing to say they weren't tyring to blag a free ticket for their mate, there is nothing to disprove that this wasn't a chav gran who can turn on the water works at will - also, the money is only refunded when a check has been made that the season ticket wasn't used

the one flaw with ignoring the rules for an 60 year would be as soon as it happens the ticket office would probably be berated with "one rule for one, one for another"

I had to queue and miss 15 mins of a game when I got to the Reebok before Man City at home (my mate had my season ticket didn't attend due to being p??ssed up) - I had to pay for the ticket and claim the money back, now I would've been f??cked off had I not got any money on me and not been allowed in, but I would also have been f??cked off had they let someone in for being

a) old

B) crying

having turned me away

I've took the receipt that comes with tickets instead of the ticket twice.

Both times I went to the ticket office and they have just given me another ticket, no bother.
