Featured Replies

forgot one of my 2 season tickets yesterday, went round to ticket office to explain, told i had to pay the 29 quid for my seat and then claim a refund, had 30 quid on me so had to pay and that left me fcuk all money, 1.20 to be precise!!!, then they asked me how i was going to get home with ??1.20!!!!!!!! ::::::lol::::::. walked round to east upper side, still fuming by the way, and the season ticket i did have got returned( due to the fact that i moved my tickets for the fulham match),looks like they cancelled the whole of my ticket.walked back to ticket office, and told them in good plain english what i thought of them. inbetween all this was a lady who had forgot her season ticket also and i explained to her that she had to pay for the ticket and get a refund later, when i walked back round to the t/o (after my s/t got returned) this lady was still stood outside the t/o, i asked her why she was still stood outside, said she needed 17 quid to get in, and they could not let her in without payment. this lady was 60 years old, on her own and in fcuking tears, been watchin the wanderers for 30 years!!!!!!. i told the ticket office again in good plain english what i thought of them and the policy which they use for forgetting your season ticket.surely a couple of questions about her and a check of her s/t should have got her into the game. i would have given her the 17 quid if they had not taken every last pound of me!!!!!!!!! I hope some fcuker from the wanderers reads this and hang your heads in shame you bunch of prawn butty eating tvvats and i hope you enjoyed the game!!!!!!!!!! =D>

You`re so perfect that you`ve never forgotten anything are you? This lady was 60 year old and didn`t have the money on her, an exception should have been made to the rule.

There was enough empty seats in the ground for gods sake. Terrible customer service skills our ticket office [-(

And I suspect that after being treated so shabbily, her seat will be empty for every game next season.

I know people that have forgotten their season tickets and the ticket office took their name and address to check them out and got them into the ground, but this was last season.

How long as this rule about paying again and claiming it back been in force? I haven't heard of it before.

Maybe some people have been getting in fraudulently :-k but if this 60 yr old lady was in tears and still outside the ticket office after kick-off time then surely a bit of common sense was needed.

Another example of why BWFC have zero customer service.

I blame Craig Allardyce

Has been the rules for a few years. Forgot my ST and had to do this when we were in Div 1.

That "old lady" could have been a young thug in an old lady suit trying to get in for nowt. There's a bloke in a lion suit gets away with it every week. Even waves to the crowds, cheeky bugger. :D

Just kidding about the elderly lady.

Sales Prevention team in t'ticket office, every one of 'em.

Those in the ticket office are a bunch of uncaring set of bstards. City game me lad forgot his student card and was asked for IDat the turnstile, when he told the turnstile guy hed left all info at home he was told to go to the ticket office where they wanted the upgrade money. he missed ten mins of the game before entering at a gate where the guy didnt bother.

swiller

The faceless cock who manages the ticket office wants a good "talking to" - FACT.

Gareth "Head Up My Own Arse" Moores is your man for complaints I suppose, ooh, and the BEN. Although they would never, ever be critical of BWFC Plc.

I must be the exception then. I forgot my ST about three years ago and I was allowed in without having to pay.

just a coincidence, i'll bet :^o :^o

I applied for a season ticket when we first got promoted to the prem.

it was declined [-(

Unfortunately though the club has progressed immensely since departing the lower leagues, our ticket office remains in the 1980s

There are some staff there who know what they are doing, but unfortunately there are several who are completely clueless.

Complaints have been made, by many I'm sure, but it seems to make little difference

Aye, I forgot my clubcard when I went to Tesco. Thing is it wasn't that important. Now, if I'd forgotten my wallet and went to the checkout, would they have let me take the stuff I wonder. I shop there regularly (except beer on matchdays)

Biff, they confused you for Sir Nats shorter tubbier older brother :D

Gonk I see what you are trying to say, but your argument is flawed pal. This woman HAD ALREADY PAID TO SEE THE MATCH. Her proof was at home. But the club has proof enough with their "bells & whistles" computer system. A couple of quick questions and it would have been easy for them to establish if this lady was fraudulent or not.

Ah yes but she could have been pulling a scam by letting somebody go in with her season ticket and then being allowed in free by claiming she had forgotten her ticket.
