Sunderland have been really unlucky this season. When I've watched them they've played some really lovely stuff. I guess they haven't had the run of the ball....let's hope it stays the same today. :D/

Just saved me starting a fresh thread. They were THE WORST TEAM I have ever seen in the Premiership at the Reebok. When Kevin Davies dropped his shoulder and went past their full back to cross for our 2nd goal, I sat back open jawed. How poor was that defending? They couldn't pass, control, tackle, head.... I cannot remember seeing a worse Prem striker than Kevin Kyle. Good riddance from the top flight. Utter shite. Dragged us down today.

A bit harsh on Sunderland,they worked hard in the first half at closing us down and getting men behind the ball, but there is not much quality in their side,mind you they put up more of a fight than West Ham last Saturday

Why do you hate clubs 'like them' to go down? I got more enjoyment out of seeing Wigan and Fulham this season. As for Sunderland fans, balls to them. The Black Cats couldn't cut the mustard so cheerio.

I quite like Chris Coleman as well - think he's an honest kind of bloke. Don't think he'd be a bad replacement for Big Sam when he leaves for Newcastle.

i thought he showed great wing play combining beautiful techical control and blistering pace...

 

I was surprised at how little fight there was in the mackem players!

They turned up expecting to get beat and bar the odd chance did next-to nothing all game

You would have thought a manager in temporary charge would try and bring some adventure to the play after the drivel that the supporters have had to put up with all season.

They brought 1000 + ? in a dire situation and were treated to diabolical football. They would be better going all out attack for the last few games. They are down anyway but at least there fans would see some entertainment.
