April 24, 200620 yr looking at the odds maclaren is now 4/5 f after being 1/3 looks a good bet to me. he is the easy choice with the fa and would have been the automatic choice but at the time of sven leaving boro where doing crap but since getting into 2 semis his profile has gone up,so the fa can now justify appointing him. maclarens odds of gone out after the storys in the press about scolari taking over. if scolari is the next manager ,i would be very dissapointed along with most of the country ,HE CANT EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH FFS

McClaren has been a major part of Svens' backroom staff in tournaments when the team has been criticised for being one dimensional and having no plan B. I don't hold with all this "the manager must be English" rubbish, for me the manager must be the best man for the job!

April 26, 200620 yr Looking at the betfair site there seems to have been a lot of money on Sclolari in the last couple of hours. Now trading at 2/5. Looking back a few weeks some lucky bastards have backed him at 220 and 200 and 190 the 2 pound bet at 220 that somebody has placed will bring 440 quid if Scolari gets appointed.
