I suggested last summer that Bolton should have tried to sign Crouch.

i agree but we also had a chance quite a while ago from QPR for 1mill.

I would still say no if we had the chance to buy him now. I have seen him play quite alot and IMO I have seen him have 1 good game, yesterday. Maybe this is the start of a very good career and I will be proved very wrong but at this point in time I still think he is a poor man's davies.

I watched the game yesterday and didn't think Crouch was that impressive, an own goal and a tap in were two of the goals, and fair enough the other one was a decent finish but nout startling against a sh??te Jamiacan outfit. If I was English I would cringe every time I saw his name on the teamsheet.

Then again he is better than anything Scotland have just now so I suppose I should shut up!

You can't have seen him play much, as he's quite a different player to Davies. Target men they both may supposedly be, but their strengths are different...
