Goodbye Sam, Hello Glenn Hoddle?

Featured Replies

After our pitiful end to last season and the subsequent lies about signing 6 players before the World Cup it is now the end of the road for Allardyce as far as I am concerned. His tv career is clearly his priority and if we make the mistake of giving him one more season we will be fighting Watford, Reading and Sheffield United to stay up.

I have been saying for weeks now that Glenn Hoddle is the man to take this club to glory and our first trophy in many, many years. But rather than just repeat his name over and over with out any substance I have spent the last few days having an in-depth look at the two managers. I was totally impartial, and have come up with the following findings and a score out of 10 for each category:

Playing Career

Hoddle: Played for Spurs for many years in the top division and Europe. Was also a regular England player, winning several caps. Gifted player who could turn any game. (9)

Allardyce: No nonsense centre-half with all the skill of an elephant on rollerblades. Never played for England and his only venture into Europe was to get liposuction on the cheap. (5)

Conclusion: Hoddle is the man. Played at the very top level most of his career with many years European experience. Perfect credentials to take us further up the league and into the CL.

Previous Clubs Managed

Hoddle: Swindon, Wolves, Southampton, Tottenham and England. Held the top job in British football, was destined to win the World Cup in 1998 until David Beckham stuck out a leg against Argentina. Later removed from post for ridiculous comments made about the disabled. (9)

Allardyce: Blackpool and Notts County. Sacked from Blackpool for crimes against football. (3)

Conclusion: Sacked by Blackpool? Enough said.

Trophies & Medals

Hoddle: While Hoddle has never guided his team to major Cup glory, he did win several FA Cup medals while playing for Spurs. (7)

Allardyce: Won Walrus lookalike competition at Clacton Butlins in 1976. (2)

Conclusion: Hoddle knows what it takes to win medals.

Tactics:

Hoddle: Widely regarded as one of the most astute managers in the game. Turned England into a major force, Hoddle would be spoken about in the same way as Sir Alf Ramsey but for Beckham???s sending off. Rightly claimed Michael Owen wasn???t a goalscorer. How many did he get for Real Madrid? How many has he got for Newcastle? (8)

Allardyce: Only has one tactic, the long ball to Kevin Davies. If Davies is injured or the opposition are big and tall he has no plan B other than to hoof it to Stelios instead. (1)

Conclusion: Allardyce thinks Henrik Pedersen is Premiership quality. No contest.

Transfer Market:

Hoddle: Signed a wealth of attacking players that had the White Hart Lane regulars purring with delight. (8)

Allardyce: Signed Mario Jardel, Ibrahaim Ba and David Holdsworth. (5)

Conclusion: Mario Jardel looked like a fat Sumo Wrestler. Again, no contest.

Media Relations:

Hoddle: Rarely seen on TV, preferring to spend his time coaching his players, searching for new talent and dealing with the day-to-day issues at Wolves. (10)

Allardyce: Is currently auditioning to replace Kate Thornton for the new series of X-Factor. (2)

Conclusion: They are both football managers. Only one takes it seriously.

Man Management:

Hoddle: Gives his players the freedom to express themselves but if any step out of line or have a poor performance he gives them an old fashioned rollicking. (9)

Allardyce: Blames Mike Riley for everything, even his 6 chins. His players are always 100% perfect. (3)

Conclusion: Allardyce needs to wake up.

Overall Concluson

Hoddle scores 60

Allardyce scores 21

The facts cannot lie. Hoddle is the man for us. He won every single category with ease. Face facts, if we want to progress Hoddle is the right man for the job.

Be brave Gartside and sack Allardyce today.

Nat let me be the first to say this:

WHAT SHITE!!!

Hoddle is the man, it???s a match made in heaven. We have a decent team, we just need a little more tactical know-how to progress.

Hoddle is a red ginger!

Look what he has done at Wolves...fcuk all!

despite having all the tools he needs at wolves to get them out of the first division he has failed miserably, hoddle and bolton is a partnership that would not work, perhaps hoddle is not on telly because he talks a load off bollox.

I've given you the benefit of the doubt upto now and actually backed you up on a few of your other threads...

...but WHAT A LOAD OF SHITE ](*,)

Please tell me what Hoddle has achieved in club management that even gives him the right to lick Sam's shoes.

ps stop wasting your time and ours with these lengthy posts and get back to the real matters in hand: Show us your norks and produce the evidence to support your claim of 'UK cock sucking champion'

The girl does it for the attention, and will get a load of replies to this thread, me having done about 4 already!! But if its attention she wants why doesn't she meet the requests of the WW faithful and show us her norks and while she is at it her fishy clam!

the only thing i will say about Hoddle is that I know a Wolves fan who beleives that Hoddle is a very very good manager who knows how to get his team to play football, however, the problem is that non of the Wolves squad knows how to play football.

I love some of these wind ups you do Natasha, didn't you also once advocate that BWFC should "up sticks" and move to the Lake District in order to attract larger crowds?

You really are a dick, if Glenda Hoddle was/is that good, why has he achieved rock all at the mighty Wolves?

You???re all missing the point. It doesn???t matter about his lack of success as a manager, it???s about matching a certain club and a certain manager to form a perfect relationship.

What had Allardyce done before he became Bolton manager? Sacked by Blackpool and managed Notts County ??? perfect credentials I don???t think.

But now is the time for Sam to hook up with his perfect club ??? AFC Wimbledon.

I love some of these wind ups you do Natasha, didn't you also once advocate that BWFC should "up sticks" and move to the Lake District in order to attract larger crowds?

I???m glad you like my work, but I don???t do wind-ups, I???m simply a deep thinker who has some amazing ideas. I didn???t save my classic ???Move to the Lakes??? post, but if I get time I will re-write it as it was a perfect idea that got some interest from the club.

Daft bint - why was Sam sacked by Blackpool? Do you know the circumstances of that?

When he was at Notts County they were promoted by March or something ridiculous.

You know nothing about the game, I don't know why you persist with this sort of shite.

it was a perfect idea that got some interest from the club.

Absolute rubbish, the club would never consider it.

Instead of writing such drivel (which, fair play to you, you seem to give some thought to) why don't you get yourself a boyfriend or something, you obviously have nothing else to do of an evening.

Also, as aksed previously by a number of my esteemed colleagues, any chance of a flash of you norks?

Daft bint - why was Sam sacked by Blackpool? Do you know the circumstances of that?

.

Sam was given a shedload of money by Oyston and failed to get promotion. Why do you think the BWFC board never give him a penny ??? HE CAN???T BE TRUSTED. He???d have given that Ba bloke a 10 year contract if it had been upto him.

Don't bother re-writing it. Instead concentrate on your job with the hotel chain in Preston.

=D>

you truely are a comic genius.. are you Lawrenson in drag ?

it's the moustache stubble that gave it away..

whilst I understand your frustations on the transfer market I think you need to assess the full impact of supporting Bolton and the possible limitations of who we can attract and buy rather than blaming someone who has brought the best signings we have made in our club history.

Will you stop referring to your insane mitherings as "your work"?

Its getting on my tits.

Nat wake up do you really expect anyone to believe that the club even for 1 second considered your suggestion about the lakes. You're a dreamer or more accurate a bull-shit merchant!

Too much time on your hands and not much of a life by all accounts. As previously said by CWP get yourself a fella or failing that frigg off when you get the urge to post such shite. I am sure it will bring you more pleasure and won't wind folk up.

Don't bother re-writing it. Instead concentrate on your job with the hotel chain in Preston.

Do you wait on tables?

Can I just say lads, I am sorry, not all girls are like her! ](*,)

Glenn Hoddle, no prizes for guessing who's been on the glue as she states to not be is one of the biggest wind up merchants EVER!

I've been off work a few days and this board has got tits up! I despair!

the only thing i will say about Hoddle is that I know a Wolves fan who beleives that Hoddle is a very very good manager who knows how to get his team to play football, however, the problem is that non of the Wolves squad knows how to play football.

At last, some support :D

Natasha, stop merking us... its fu??kin tiresome. [-X

So just because I don???t like our Walrus manager I must be a wind up merchant?

Open your eyes, we could and should have been playing Champions league football next season.

I bet her minge stinks of smoked haddock.

PB

You've got to go and give

But do it at the right time

You can be slow or fast

But you must get to the line

Open your eyes, we could and should have been playing Champions league football next season.

My eyes are open sweet pea, I wouldn't mind closing one of yours up for a week or 2 though (assuming you are a 40 odd year old bloke :-k )
