Your lot done us good and proper at Vicarage Road in the FA Cup last season, which I of course watched grimly, but that wasn't our aim last season so expect a tougher match this time round! How do you think we'll fair this season? Any chance of staying up? I think we can hang on by the skin of our teeth if we're lucky and I trust every move Boothroyd is to make in the transfer market(quite a few names floating around at the mo!). Being linked with McAnuff who I would welcome with open arms, as are yourselves and Charlton I believe though, which ruins our chances of getting him. Also Edwards from the tin pot down the road, who despite being from Lut*n I wouldn't mind either! So any thoughts on Watford, or should I stick to my site and naff off?

We don't have the biggest following ever, but what do you expect for Watford? Its hardly the biggest area in the world is it? The away support won't be in huge numbers I wouldn't have thought but we'll make enough noise I'm sure. I'll enjoy every minute of it but surely we're not that shit?! Nah he's on trial with us. He has been released by Boro so won't cost a penny either. Must be on pretty high wages though, and as we had the 3rd lowest in the Championship before we went up, I can't see us offering him loads! I would like him to join, experienced striker and we only have Henderson and King as real strikers! Rumours that we've bid for Carl Cort as well, who I can't remember completing a season fit! Would love either McAnuff/Edwards or both Job, Shittu/Davenport and as Fergie's said we can have Foster back for another year(although I hope the Kuzcak not back won't effect this), then we're ready for the big time again I think!

Watched Watford in the playoffs and they looked impressive but I also saw the Cup game against us and it was a demolition job with a team of reserves out.

We do play a very similar game to Wigan when they came up, King is/well was their Roberts, and Mackay is their DeZeeuw. It'll be tough staying up and I can only see it being between us, Sheff U, Reading, A.Villa and possibly Fulham for the relegation spots. But being beat 4-0 by Bolton away or beating CHelsea 1-0 at home I'll love it!

I think the fantasy football would be right down your Burdens Bogs myself!

 

Henderson is pretty similar to Duncan Ferguson! Right dirty bstard!! I'll virtually guarantee you that you will hate him, he uses his elbows so much! Very good in the air and if given space has a class shot on him! Works very well with King as he heads a lot of balls down. Probably very similar to Kevin Davies but DAvies has a far better work rate, yet I'd favour Hendo's shooting!

 

As for King, he's a class act. Alll round player that can change a game, and was consistent all last season. I don't think it was a one season fluke either, he'll be a problem for all defences. King, dare I say it, would be perfect in your side! Hope we don't go back down with a bang or I'd imagine we'll lose him!

Ah,but it's the surprise cheapies who can score goals that make all the difference in FF games, Darren Bent last year,Andy Johnson the year before. So being realistic,how many can you see King netting?

If we go for it and play attacking football as we did all last season, I'd say 15. He easily netted 23 last season and was out for a while. I'd expect him to take the mickey out of Jaidi :-#

We were linked with that Henderson a few summers ago I think. Back when he was at Norwich.

 

Either way you have a very young and energetic side, and play great football. But it might not be enough to stay up, although the future is bright either way, as long as you can keep hold of your young guns.
