July 25, 200620 yr Anyone have any idea as to who the two trialist we have had playing the last two games? If not there names how did they play against Burnley?
July 27, 200620 yr up there it used to be common in the days of amateur football, that a prospect would havea trial with a pro club once he'd played he couldn't go back to being an amateur dunno if thats still the case
July 27, 200620 yr Looking further into it, it seems the rule applies to England only and not GB. A Trialist was one of the top scorers in the Scottish 3rd Division last season.

BWFC = Princess suggested we signed him. Sam should a distinct lack of ambition on that one. Some people on here probably think we should sign PEN and OG as they score most weeks as well.
July 27, 200620 yr I think PEN is much more prolific than OG. OG chips in with quite a few, but I reckon PEN gets more. I reckon we'd get him for about ??7m.

I don't think he would do much for our reputation though, as every time PEN scores, it appears to have been as a result of a foul of some discription, and I've heard that he dives a lot as well
July 27, 200620 yr I've also heard he's reluctant to work outside the box too, so Sam wouldn't want him. (Borgetti?)

I never watch Scottish football and who is the player that we are talking about anyway because if i did make that comment then i need to apolagise as i think i might of made a mistake.

Some of your comments certainly live up to your moniker

July 27, 200620 yr Aqua was last spotted in Porto on the Friday night, we were taking the piss out of him and he said "leave me alone, I'm having a meal"... He was eating ketchup on toast Actually, he's a good lad.
July 27, 200620 yr And garrp could complement the line-up perfectly when he gets back from buying his own Pacific island.
July 28, 200620 yr And garrp could complement the line-up perfectly when he gets back from buying his own Pacific island. I miss Garp's "get rich quick" schemes...always worth a chuckle
July 28, 200620 yr I remember when he first came on, tried hacking the site and then start bragging that he was 16 and 'ran his own site - blah blah blah'. I thought he was ok, until he calmed down & grew up a bit PB
July 28, 200620 yr Garrp's OK in my book. Has some imaginative money-making ideas, but he's a sound lad really. Attends more Bolton games away from home than 90% of us on here.

Quite agree, but you telling me you've never laughed AT him? I still find it funny that in Sunny Beach everyone was out on the pop and he was in the hotel playing computer games. Bless.
