Bolton have signed Iran midfielder Andranik Teimourian on a two-year contract.

 

The deal has been completed after the club obtained a work permit for the 23-year-old, who joins from Iranian side Abu Moslem.

 

Teimourian is a defensive midfielder, who has won 11 caps for his country and played in all three of their matches at the World Cup this summer.

Well it was one of the worst kept secrets. He had signed a 2 year contract a few weeks ago and it looked like he was about to be loaned out. Anyway this friday Iran play South Korea in an important qualifier which Andy or Andre or whatever Bolton fans wish to call him now will be an important part of. Hope the club will be patient with him, he will need time to get used to the English game but believe me when i say he is a player full of heart...Hope you wont mind that few million fans will now be closely watching out for your results....good luck to the Bolton this season

Well Andy wanted to come to England even though Bolton did not give the best offer for him. He did not want to make the same mistake the likes of Karimi(bayern) who wasted the good years of their career rotting in the UAE.

I thought Iran Looked half decent in the World Cup, they got stuck in and seemed up to it physically, unlike most Asian sides who just get bulied out of the game. Hope he proves to be a good 'un.
