Italian youngster who impressed in a trial when under an alias. Morini was a slightly built forward who had quick footwork but he was only ever able to manage one full league appearance against Sheffield United on the final day of the 2000-2001 season.
Nigel Jemson
Journeyman striker who had a short spell on loan with the Wanderers in 1988 after injuries to the regular frontline of John Thomas and Trevor Morgan. Once under the wing of Brian Clough, Jemson proved to be a good target man for a number of clubs but was unable to make an impression at Burnden Park.
Sammy Lee
Energetic midfielder who was brought to Bolton at the tail end of his career in 1990 by former Liverpool teammate and then Wanderers manager Phil Neal. Lee spent a lot of time injured during his spell at Burnden Park and managed just four games.
John Salako
Injury prone winger who was brought to the Reebok Stadium in 1998 in a bid to lend his experience to the Wanderers relegation fight. Salako never started a game for the club and his efforts during cameo appearances came in vain as the club make a swift return back to the First Division.
Franz Carr
Much travelled winger who was once rated as the most promising player in England in his early Nottingham Forrest days under the late great Brian Clough. Carr made five brief substitute appearances for the trotters at a time when they had been struggling at the foot of the Premiership.
