Isn't It Fookin

great having so much exposure on skysports news due to Pardew getting the sack.

They keep showing our goals over and over :drinks:

Eeh, I wonder what Martin Samuel thinks of us now :good:

That Anelka finish was superb, pick of the lot.

It was his slight miss control with the first touch that created the chance, by drawing Green off his line.

Absolute class

p.s. Pablo, I can only assume that you only saw the end of the Diouf goal rather than the whole run :)

Seen it all.....piss poor defending, really shocking.

Anelka's was better, great team goal, completed with a classic strikers finish. They are what you pay the money for.

Diouf's was better, it was a cool finish as well as beating a man all ends up on the way

You'll be able to watch them all again soon, when Curbishley's appointed.

i reckon he might do ok for you lot

kev ds first goal is best of the lot.

about 10-12 passes, starts with ehd nearly losing the ball, all looking a bit out of control, then ehd pops up again to set the goal up for kevd.

not 'typical' bolton.

It was a hell of a move, but it seemed so slow and easy; there's not many teams that we would have been able to score a goal like that against.

Hughsey, I think he's allright as a manager, but his reputation isn't all that, if you look at league positions over all the years he was at Charlton. True he didn't have vast amounts to spend, but there were teams with less.

Think he can do ok.

New owners sussed, in record short time. Curbishley "the fans choice"?....Yeah, right.

Could've still made a few quid on Curbishley this morning though.

If Campo hadnt hit the post, that would have been the best goal :) great team move.

Anelka chases wayward clearance, saves throw-in, passes to Campo.

Right up there with Cambiasso's goal at the World Cup, that.

i think charlton's current plight is a good indiciation of the work he did there

they should always have been in a relegation dogfight with the players they had but he always did well until their usual post christmas slump

on that basis, you too can expect a few seasons of lower mid table finishes

I disagree, he spent decent money there and never really achieved anything Pardew hadn't at West Ham.

Euell, Hreidarsson, Rommedahl, Fish, Jensen, Bent - the list of decent money signings goes on. Not fortunes, but decent amounts spent every year.

He is over reliant on the English market for players and I don't think his record with the cheque book is at all good, yet he's been appointed I imagine to spend the money at West Ham in January.

An average appointment in my opinion. O'Neill was the class manager waiting to be appointed this summer.

the sale of Parker covers all of them.....ish

but aye, a few years of mid table mediocrity for the world cup winners

event thats an improvemnt on the norm
