Sunday Mirror Supporters League

Featured Replies

We are the worst set of fans for creating an atmosphere home and away according to the sunday mirror supporters league.

not surprising.....

In this survey how do they measure the atmosphere created by supporters? Can't say I've been overly impressed with any set of home fans I've visited this season.

not a big suprize this seasons been shookingly bad on the attmospher front.

been poor this season all round

I do give a fook, because the paper are right our support has been abysmal this season, and for me one of the first things that drew me to BWFC was not the team, but the brilliant vociferous lever end displayed for a shitty crap team, it was blind passion and loyallty, and to me that is what being bolton is all about.

Crap paper!

and who has decided this?

I mean come on Fulham? Ah silly me for questioning a london club

Well certainly away from home our fans never stay standing up - so this tends to

reduce noise levels.

Only been Villa away in the cup semi final where everyone stood

up all game. Anytime a few folk stay standing away from home they get moaned at.

Most of the bigger clubs stand wherever they go.

Been to most away games this season and no team stick in my mind

as creating a great atmosphere.

Portsmouth have the bell ringer who makes up for 10 k

Sheffield Utd....first season novelty

Reading..... as above

Newcastle....thick geordies with no one else to support

Watford.....first season novelty

Liverpool...I don't believe they are up there

Yids....tradition ground, big fan base

I'd have Villa and Utd much higher up

mind you that's based on what I've seen over the years

and based on their away followings, not at home

as for west ham, weekly loud chants of "you're not fit to wear the shirt" shouldn't count towards creating an atmoshphere
