The number of calls & emails between us all before we actually booked the flights & accom. Then the cancellation, then the revised hotel, very funny - but we learned from our mistakes. Bobcat picked 2 decent hotels in Bulgaria & Portugal. Carlos did well for the Istanbul hotel and Marseilles was pot luck (Zico and friends picked a decent quality hotel with a better location). All-in-all we didn't do too bad tho. And of course the 2 well organised coaches in Bulgaria and France.

June 23, 200719 yr Thanks to IAN for stopping me booking flights to Sofia, the Varna route was an effort by many people (excluding those with Blueberry's), happy days!!! Credit to Ian for arranging the coach to the hotel, even for the freeloaders. NO SMOKING!!! And then Traf for the coach to the ground, top stuff. Porto on Ryanair from Stanstead was someone else's idea and the prices had gone up ?20 by the time I typed in my details. I'm taking credit for finding Lufthansa's deal to Istanbul (?133), hardly difficult stuff though. I'd like to think that the price encouraged a few more to go anyway. For Marseille, me and Traf were booked the moment Zico confirmed the draw, details were already entered, lesson learnt. I just hope we get somewhere really difficult to get to this time. July 22, 200719 yr Reet, I've given this some thought and i might have jumped the gun, BUT........................ I reckon if we're make the group stages, then Matchday 5 will be our "free week" as it clashes with Carling Cup Quarter Final week. Does that seem right to anybody else?
