Can only compliment the club on this. Lets hope there are more of these offers for matches which aren't quite so exciting on paper.

Is this the game where Junior Whites get in for free?

No mention of that on the website. Are you ITK with the inner sanctum of the staff?

From what I've heard Traf's staff is ITK with many inner - sanctums...

At ?19 nobody can complain and i for one will be in attendance with son and would not have gone at normal prices. The club will have more Category C games this season without a doubt.

Prices at football are totally disproportionate to everything else in life and it is only when you stop getting a ST and have to fork out weekly that you really appreciate that.

Category B & C home games only for me this season with a Saturday 3pm kick off.

Will still do around half the away games but again this will depend on prices. I was going to Pompey and making a weekend of it but at ?34 no chance.

I've made myself a member for a second season for FREE as the club are doing a deal with selective local businesses (?20 normally, I think?) and I have paid ?19 North Stand Lower, believe this will reduce to ?16 for category C, surely no excuse for anyone at that price.

Having been a season ticket holder since the Burnden days, I am a Membership convert, especially since I miss at least 3 games per season due to holidays and business.

Can't be arsed looking again but does anyone know if the Matchday prices have been posted on the "official" site yet? As of yesterday they hadn't.

Sites like this do more to promote BWFC, than BWFC.

In which case I won't be joining the membership scheme, I f?cking detest being charged for something that other people are getting free for no good reason.

I'm not going to the Reading game either, I also detest family oriented football. I don't want fairgrounds and face painting, I want football. I also don't want to have to pay full whack for a seat surrounded by brats on some "bring every kid in Bolton for 3p" scheme.

Getting adults in paying adult prices is how to make money, what are BWFC doing for people like me who don't have half a dozen ankle bitters?

Carlos - you bitter and twisted about a ticketing issue? I'm astonished!

As an anti little hooded shitehawk advocate myself I fully agree with where you are coming from . However, getting the little bastards while they are young is pretty much the only way of securing future fans. Even with the best marketing in the world we will struggle to fill the Reebok over the next 5 years or so (save a top four or local fixture). Like the irritating little bastards or not the are, quite literally, the future.

This offer is in addition to the Junior Whites for free games which for 07-08 are:

28/10 v Villa

01/01 v Derby

12/04 v WHU

Regarding this offer for the Reading game, I think the club deserves a big pat on the back. They are being proactive from the off this season rather than reacting to poor attendances as an after thought.

The first game is going to be a sell-out or as near as damn it.

Something is going the right way at the club.

I also don't want to be surrounded by kids at the game, but Whitney was right. The children are our future.

I've just spoken to someone who rang our friends at the ticket office this morning and was told it's nigh on a sell out.

& it was George Benson first, you philistine!

I also don't want to be surrounded by kids at the game, but Whitney was right. The children are our future.

For the Reading game, I suppose the club has addressed this by making the offer only available in limited parts of the ground.

I don't believe the hype, with the online ticket system you can get tickets in areas that were usually sold out last season.

South Lower and West Lower.

Great idea IMO.

well done to the club, the more of these the better!

i can see our highest attendance of the season being one of these cheap tickets matches especially for a saturday 3 o'clocker!

F?ck me you'll always find something to moan about!

Based on that logic then i'm assuming you boycott other possible purchases. People get freebies in all walks of life and i'm sure you realise that.

Carlos for junior whites organiser!

I feel that making it dificult and slagging off our future supporters isnt really the best foot forward!

And i find the comments of carlos more irritating than having a 5 and 7 year old sat behind me for the whole of last season!
