Looks Like Diouffy might get a run, or do we paly Helguson

That is bad news, I would imagine that both Diouf and Helg will play this week.........unless either of the new wingers are deemed as being ready for action.

Braaten get him match fit

we will have to play the ball on the ground for the next 6 weeks, if allardyce was still at the club, would we have anyone able to replace davies in the short term? I think not, at least we now have options with helguson.

wilhelmsson is WAY ahead of him for.

braaten wont play 10 games this season.

Are you sure? Wouldn't he have been playing in the Champions League qualifiers with Rosenborg this week? Doesn't this mean he's match-fit?

Christ, Homer, you're nailing your colours to the mast on this one, aren't you?

I don't think any of us have seen a great deal of him outside YouTube.

One thing that is certain is that he's quick, and pace makes defenders think.

Even if all he does is occupy defenders' thoughts with something more than what they're going to have for their tea, he'll be an improvement on what we saw on Saturday.

i know, but i just dont have a great feeling, plus theres plenty of men infront of him.

super sub maybe, but i dont see him starting games (league anyway)

wilhelmson on the other hand will turn out to be a cracking acquisition

Beat me to it Mounts. Big tick for LSL in having the foresight to get some cover for KD. What odds the hulk scores a late winner at Fulham?

Bolton have been dealt a blow with the news that Kevin Davies may be sidelined for six weeks.

The 30-year-old suffered a torn hamstring in Bolton's 3-1 opening day defeat by Newcastle and was replaced by new signing Heidar Helguson.

Manager Sammy Lee said: "It's a massive blow as he's such an influential player but it will give somebody else an opportunity to stake their claim."

Striker Ricardo Vaz Te will have a scan on Monday on a foot injury.

The Portuguese forward limped off shortly after half-time on Saturday and is set to join Davies on the sidelines when Bolton face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Wednesday.

That could mean a recall for El-Hadji Diouf, who has expressed his disappointment at being left out against Newcastle.
