Give it a season and it will be back to 15,000. Anyone who saw the documentary on the New York Cosmos will know that the yanks just don't get 'soccer'. Can't see it surviving on anything other than a small scale. Incidentally, the Cosmos could be back as the second New York franchise.
Doctor Tongue Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Once Mrs Beckham realises that there is no career for her in the USA because she is a talentless individual, he will be back this side of the pond. This whole LA thing was set up by her for her. Beckham needs to grow a pair of balls and get back over here before its to late.

Gumbo Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 However the game will improve the more English players that go out there, Lets say those that are released from a pro club and can go and do a Scholarship over there or maybe have a look at www.soccerscholarsusa.com
trotter58 Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Anyone watch that Tim Lovejoy programme about U.S. 'soccer' on Five? What do people see in this twerp? He just epitomises the sort of tit who started going to football after the 1990 World Cup.
Zico Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Once Mrs Beckham realises that there is no career for her in the USA because she is a talentless individual, he will be back this side of the pond. you reckon, given there is no career for her over here for the same reasons I think they'll stay there as it's sunny
