September 28, 200718 yr Athy- could you administer some chloroform and then convince her you went ? Good idea to accrue some brownie points though lad. I get mine through not burning his clothing whilst i iron them.

September 30, 200718 yr Author Been tonight, it is absolutelty tip top. Me too, I thought it was a great production, the cast seemed to really enjoy it, it was very emotional at times, a lot of the time you sit there laughing with a sort of "I'm a Wanderer" type of pride, and you felt the pain of 'Alf' as he recounted away days with his son 'Billy'. All in all it were a good 'do', missus enjoyed it = brownie points secured I would recommend this play to all BWFC fans, it is on at th'Octagon until Saturday 20th October
October 1, 200718 yr It's funny in parts, poignant in others and at the end of it the Wanderers win the Cup! Cannot recommend highly enough, if you live anywhere near Bolton get yourself down there.
October 1, 200718 yr I had a look on the Octagon site and was impessed when it said those with season tickets can get discount. I told t'other half and he just looked at me and shook his head in dismay.

The Octogon's xmas shows are always fantastic and much better then the panto fare served up in Manchester or at the Albert halls. Regular theatre review section, anyone....?!!
