What is the best way to travel to the ground?????

The official trip will be escorted and secured with heavy police. I advise you all who are not in the official trip to hire a bus and join the escorted official tour. Don't walk to the ground! Don't just enter a cab and tell him to take you to the ground. You MUST find a way to be escorted around the ground.

 

umm thats not right Jumbomkd.... it was more buses than only 2..... i know someone who went there himself so that were no lies......

well and flares..... i think they look good and are not very dangerous so they are not a big problem....

I was there when Bayern's fans arrived at the stadium. They arrived with 3 buses. Maybe there were more people then usual in those buses but as you can see on this photo: http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/8361/25102007214rh9.jpg they were definitely not 9 buses like said before. 200-250 I would say

Here it is again:

They were 3 buses, not 9. + some fans who came by their self, so there were 200 Bayern fans in Belgrade.

 

Nothing of this is serious and that bad. Bayern's fans were throwing things too and they even lighted 2 flares after they scored the first goals. I don't know how they managed to smuggle them in, but I'm sure that I would have been arrested if lighted a flare in the other part of the stadium.

 

I can surely say that Bayern's fans had the best time in Belgrade compared to the other away fans. You too shouldn't care much about your safety in the center of Belgrade and also during the match because there will be big security. The only thing that should concern the guys who will come on their self in Belgrade is how will thry arrive at the stadium before the match and then go to the hotel after the match

Well I'm just back from my first ever visit to Belgrade. When I told people I was a Bolton fan and I would be going to this game everyone seemed genuinely pleased that we were making the effort to go. I got the impression we would get a good reception from the genuine fans. Lots of

 

I've seen various comments about only drinking in the hotel bars, for those that do, bring plenty money. I paid 960 Dinar, almost ?9 for, a double Vodka and Tonic in the Continenatal (BTW in the Piano Bar where Arkan was assisinated) As expected away from the hotels things were much cheaper and you have to try the local drinks of plum brandy and apple brandy they are lethal. If you're a vegitarian don't bother going I've never eaten as much lamb in two days as I did this week.

 

There are a number of rather nice fountains as well

hmm with the bayern munich supporters who arrived earlier... partizan supporters wished them good luck and red star supporters were like "see you tomorrow night" but not really "pleased" with their appearance....

 

 

it were 3 buses departing from munich to belgrade and 6 buses from other bayern supporters throughout germany!

600/9 is about 67 which makes sense in a normal bus

there were 600 bayern supporters in belgrade

look the best way to take coach is to contact you club BWFC and they call FK Red Star and talk with them and they(FKRS)secure buses for you and then club give to you all info where buses will wait you and all other info!!!also FKRS will contact police who will secure your coming on stadium!!!
